wrong again. It's easier, opens into a more usable grip than my Kershaw's speedsafe system (which is still quite nice!) and functions more forgivingly than a thumbstud. I feel like I'm rambling, but the bottom line for me is this: a knife this size, this well designed, with this much VG-10 steel, at this price is actually a fantastic value

The steel is VG10 which is nice. I really like the current version handles for the ergonomics (i have large hands); the positive grip of the handles and the outstanding jimping on the blade spine. Since I also bought the 550 Griptillian in this purchase, I wish Spyderco would have added similar jimping on the upside and downside of the endura's handles. That would really reduce the potential of blade slippage on any thrusting movements

The FRN version of the Para3 has a lot of problems, mostly the weight distribution. The handle is really light, which makes the knife very uncomfortable to open. the pocket clip stinks on it too, and it felt nothing like a smaller verison of my PM2. My hand slipped a lot using the FRN handle and the steel of that version (which is not S30V) just felt off to me

That's a good baseline for all those things at $105 on Amazon (choose a color and made in USA!). I started with the g10 version and it destroyed my jeans pockets but really helped to identify requirements in those categories.
