 For those reasons and factoring in the cost of this pricey knife.. I gave it 4 stars.

 but be aware that you’ll have to use the same mounting screw for the other side as the non clip screw is very short and doesn’t have enough threading to hold the clip. Finally, opening the knife with your left hand only, is a little tricky as the Syderco hole is partially covered by the blade lock, as seen in the other pic. For those reasons and factoring in the cost of this pricey knife.

 He feels a little bit narrower. It feels a little bit more svelte if you will in the pocket, and especially compared to something like his Spyderco PM 2, which is just differently huge and way way thicker. This carries just nicely next reason: it's kind of nice in the pocket is that it's pretty lightweight you look at it. I believe come on now 3

 If not exactly the same, I'm not hundred percent sure, but whatever um. This is a very, very thin knife and all of the the fasteners are flush fit, which is a very nice detail by the way um. You know this is very, very nice in terms of thinness. It'S also nice in terms of not being very wide compared to the Spyderco sleeve buoy um, this knife

Do a video that's very explicitly, comparing these two knives to one another, because I think it's interesting and illustrative, but it's gon na be slightly different and fun. One final note here is that this is not a factory edge, as you can see here, this has got itself a nice little mirror edge to it, and I put that on afterwards spoke to test out the kme system that I've been using lately and because I Really done somewhere on this steel, so let's go on ahead and jump into this side now knife with the good great, the bad and the ugly okay.  This is absolutely bizarre, but it happened and that's that's spectacular that it did, but mostly it's just a damn good knife. So if you need a rust resistant knife buy this right now case closed slam, freaking dunk, great great knife, and if you have any other desire to buy this knife, if it looks cool to you, if you, if you just want to try something new than do It you're gon na be happy. The price is good, you're gon na love, it no freaking problem just be careful. This is maybe a gateway knife and that's that's always dangerous

 No one else offers this steel. Their Mule Team program is also pretty cool, again, no other company does anything like that.

The prices are getting pretty high, that's true, but there is still some good value in the production (eg the GB2, Spydiechef, and the Swayback are nearly CRK quality IMO). I also really enjoy Maxamet in the PM2, Para 3 and the Sage 1. No one else offers this steel. Their Mule Team program is also pretty cool, again, no other company does anything like that

What is the hype with Spyderco?

 So that is my ultimate main criticism of this knife. Is that - and this is actually a replacement - i sent the other one back to try to get one with an earlier lock up and i guess either they just dropped the ball on it or they didn't care or somebody messed up. I don't know what happened, but this one has the same amount of lock up engagement as the one i sent back originally. So not a good thing in my opinion, but i'm not gon na try to send this one back again

 Honestly, it's just angled a little bit different on the handle, which makes the design look so unique, and it's sort of angled like that. So you can have your hand underneath it, but still use it on a flat surface as a food prep knife. If we look at this blade, you see everything's, nice and chamfered on the spine, the hole as well due to, i would say, taiwan getting some complaints about the sharpness of their hole. They'Ve decided to start chamfering them

 That is a something that really worries me about this, and i'm just concerned that you know very quickly that this is going to wear all the way over and i'm going to be left with a lock bar. That'S touching the opposite scale and gon na develop a lot of blade play and have to send this back in for warranty repair. So that is my ultimate main criticism of this knife. My initial thoughts on the Knifejoy Exclusive Spyderco Spydiechef

 two coming in at about eight point: three inches overall, so close to the same overall length as the PM 2. How about the benchmade reptilian benchmade grip, Tilian, coming in at the same overall length, eight inches so very comparable there to the benchmade group Tilian. Both an overall length and in blade length. Last but not least, of course we have the spyderco delica coming in at 7 inches overall, so interesting, let's go ahead and weigh this knife

 I'Ve always thought that they look like Birds, which is probably why they named their budget line the bird line, but this is a polarizing look. You'Ve got a lot of people are either gon na love it or hate it. I think it's really really cool. I, like it, I'm a monochromatic person, so I enjoy this but really really cool knife

Spyderco SpydieChef - Overview and Review

 It is shaped something like a small Japanese Santoku knife. The handle is titanium (also corrosion resistant). I have used the knife for food preparation and it works well. The knife came sharp and has held its edge well

A very nice pocket chef's knife and a good general purpose pocket knife.

 the FRN scales feel cheap. The FRN on the Delica does not. They feel solid and there's only flex if you're really trying to flex it. The wharncliffe blade is not aesthetically pleasing to most but it does everything I've asked it to do

(I purchased this knife as a companion for my Manix 2 as some sheeple found it offensive) In keeping this short and direct, it's beautiful/ugly, it's very well built and it's keeping up with my Manix 2. It's a perfect first taste of Spyderco as well as a perfect twelfth taste

(Obviously I have a problem...) Everything from very popular designs to a few obscure out-of-prints

I returned this knife because I didn't like the thumb cut out used to deploy the blade. I found it too difficult and I felt that it would be easy to lose control of the knife while trying to deploy the blade. I like the flipper style better.

There is a lot to like about this knife

 The thin blade makes it a wicked slicer! It will easily cut even tough materials like heavy plastic irrigation piping. The thin tip penetrates materials easily. Just be cautious not to twist it around when cutting. Pretty much a perfect EDC, kitchen, or hiking knife

Very sharp, very thin blade. Not for hard use applications like prying or digging or chopping, but will cut like a buzz saw for a long time! The handle is the typical modern delica 4 style. Sturdy and well made. Excellent constructive
