 It'S not gon na put down as much ink as something like your easy flow, and it has it a less distinctive feel when you're writing doesn't have that sort of scratchiness of the Visconti or the easy flow and discretions may not be the right word, but they Have a sort of feedback that the jet stream doesn't provide so whether you like that or not is sort of up to you, but if you want the reliability and the smoothness of the jet stream, then this sxr 600 is definitely a great way to go right. Now these are costing - I don't know - maybe like 10 or 12 dollars, and you're gon na have to wait for a week plus to get them boys they're only selling through ebay and recce, ten and a few of them, but I'm sure they're gon na be on Amazon and other sellers pretty soon, if I could find the link I'll put in the listing, but for now here it is that sxr 600. IMO the Rotring is too expensive at that price point. You can get a Rotring 600 for $30, which is practically the same pen without the retractable tip. I prefer to find pens with the LEAST amount of moving parts so there's a decreased risk of mechanical failure.

Like the title says I'm looking at getting my first expensive pen, that also has some quality refill options available. I don't know much about refills, so hoping with the pen recs i can search here for their refills.

 I've found the rOtoring 800 (61$ on jetpens) and the TI Click ($100 on jetpens) are my current choices. I have a strict 125$ before tax limit on whatever I buy. I'm looking for a click pen, I've never used a bolt pen, but can be considered. Since i need a one handed pen, job reqs, twist, cap are out of the ring. 
 
I like the 800 for it's retractable tip and it seems to have some good refills available ( however, i haven't tested, tried, or researched them that much)
The TI Click has a wide array of refills, given that's the nature of the pen.

I'm used to writing with the Papermate ink joy, which i adore for it's simple structure, easy rubber grip, and ink. For a pencil i use the GG1000 which sometimes i find has a small grip.
Also any refill recommendations I'll gladly take, but i can dig deeper here.

First expensive pen, I'm looking to dig in and buy a good pen with many refill options

I have average size hands (maybe a tad larger than average) for a guy and this pen feels tiny. So tiny it hurts my hand to write with for a while. Also, as others have stated, it clicks everytime you lift and place down because the cartridges do not have a good fit inside the pen. The actuall metal body build quality is very nice, but I will not be using it as it is uncomfortable to write with

 It lacks heft, the clicking mechanism is spongy, overall it just isn’t the same.  Do yourself a favour, scour eBay for an original, they were just better.

 It has an excellent balance, very hefty, good grip section, good click mechanism, and a very cool aesthetic. I would strongly recommend this over the Rotring Rapid Pro as I find that pen a bit too long and it has a plastic piece connecting the grip and barrel.  Pros: 1. Excellent construction Coated Brass, very few plastic parts

This is an excellent ballpoint. While it does lack a few things the older model 600s had like the twist top to indicate color. it is a hefty, strong every day carry pen.  This pen may have been a little pricey for a ballpoint, but the quality and construction are there to make it worth it

NOT THE ORIGINAL, BUT STILL EXCELLENT AND ONE OF MY FAVORITE BP PENS

I’ve owned a few of these over the years and they are straight to the point, (no pun intended) sturdy, reliable, comfortable and look sharp, not bulky at all, physically the same size as a disposable Bic pen. For the price, if you use a ballpoint pen for work regularly, this is probably the last pen you need to buy (as a normal not-flashy person)
