Sure, I could reset the angle and make it all even myself, but why should I have to? Not when I am paying $130 for a frickin knife. I returned it for a replacement and we will see what I get. I also sent Cold Steel a message asking them what the grind angles are supposed to be on the AD10. I will update my review with what the replacement knife is like as well as any response I get from Cold Steel

I’d recommend sticking to the 3.25” I don’t know what ergonomic principle they were following with the handle. It is thin, hard plastic. The bolster extends past the edge, making it less nimble

The shape of the handle alone provides a secure grip. The crisp diamond texturing provides extra traction. The handle is comfortable with no hot spots. Also, the act of gripping the handle makes the lockup even stronger

Disclaimer: Not a normal review, this is a vegetable knife, but also a very versatile butcher knife! If you are queasy, or anti-hunting/meat - probably not the best for you to read so avert your squimish little eyes, por favor. As an avid hunter/outdoorsman who processes their own game instead of taking it to a butcher, finding the right, no, perfect tools for the job make it much more pleasing and satisfying. Buy it because it’s a solid knife with a great steel that does what it says it does. Looks good and works great.
