Vizio D32f-J04 vs Vizio D50-D1

The Vizio D32f-J04 is the best 32 inch 1080p TV. As 4k TVs are hard to find in this size, it's better to look for something with a lower 1080p resolution like this one, and if you sit at a distance, you won't notice the difference in resolution between each anyways. There are a few variants of this TV, so it can be confusing to know which one to buy, but the D32f-J04 version has a 1080p resolution and performs like the 40 inch model we tested, while the D32h-J09 has a lower 720p resolution.

I'll never touch Visio again, this is one time I really should have gone and looked first and avoided this heart burn by buying a different brand.

Screen response to remote and menu in general very slow compared to the ROKU that we replaced with this. Edit 9/20/21 - Downgrading to 2 stars. TV's performance degrades after a day or two to where it freezes or hangs and then needs a cold-start - Unplug from the wall, wait 60 seconds, plug back in.

Playback controls and dedicated Amazon, iHeartRadio, and Netflix buttons sit above the navigation pad, while the channel and volume rockers and number pad sit below it. The remote's buttons are rectangular and rubber. They're easy to press, but they're not backlit.

The interface does not offer a way for the user to group favorite apps which which would bypass scrolling through the numerous other apps.

Good integration with my other devices. The sound is could be better but I already have an audio system so it isn't relevant. Give 4 stars cause I think that the interface need some works.

Bought the TV in December and at first the TV worked okay but the TV has become slow over time and lags when I try to use the AirPlay feature. TV has shut off on its own while it was loading. Invest in a better brand!!!!

I bought it because at the time the price was right, and it has excellent input lag for video games (the delay between pressing a button on your controller and seeing the result on screen.) A trick is that only one of the HDMI inputs is optimized for input lag so you'll need to look up which one that is (if I can find it again, I'll update my review.) If you have more than one game system and want the absolute best latency, you'll need to invest an in HDMI switcher and plug them all into that one. In fact, the HDMI ports all have slightly different specs, only one can do 4K@60Hz, etc

So it does come in handy to have V-Sync for the older games. But now that it's 1080p, I don't have to throw as much hardware to get someone like games...

Instead there's a standard on-screen smart TV interface, which you'll use to launch and control apps such as Netflix. In general I find that a lot more convenient than using your phone, which SmartCast requires.The best built-in smart TV system is found on Roku TVs, however, and they provide the D series' chief competition. Roku's app coverage is second to none and they're super simple to use

That said, you’ll probably want to buy a soundbar for this TV – potentially the Vizio V-Series 5.1 Sound Bar that upgrades you to surround sound from basic stereo sound. 

Right so now that ive had this tv for about a year i thought i would revise a little. Picture is still good no issues. The sound is horrible so you should get a sound bar that fix my issue. I also hate there app interface along with there wifi antenna
