I am a big fan and collector of tops knives, they are a solid knife made in the USA, any of their knives is worth the money.

What a fantastic knife! You get more than what you pay for with Benchmade! Beautifly made, wooden handle, tough as nails steel! Benchmade build's them right. "When men were made of steel, ships were made of wood, and guns were made of both!" Benchmade knifes are a part of that storied history. Best damn knifes made in the world!

I am not impressed with the "differential heat treat" on either TOPS knife, which are both 1095 steel. I have ESEEs that are quite superior in edge holding and those are also 1095. I have the Condor Bushlore, which is 1075, and holds a better edge (slightly). Frankly, I will not buy another TOPS product

I love this knife and the benchmade company. My only reasoning for not being five stars is that one side of the diamond wood is a lot darker than the other and it looks quite off putting. Other than that it's fantastic!

But the quality shows. The knife is easily opened and closed using the thumb stud. It is ambidextrous. It is easy to open the very first time and it loosens a little more with use
