With Jx Pro, the price is also easy to talk about. That's again, a pretty big win for the easy peso grinders.

For almost the exact same drawdown times (3:05ish on the encore 3:00ish on the jx) the clarity and separation of flavors was much more pronounced on the jx pro. Additionally, the encore's brew had almost a bitter aftertaste that was not present at all on the jx pro brew - this was really noticeable to me and. I did expect the jx pro to be better, but it exceeded my expectations, and I think its reasonable to assume that the regular Jx (which is actually the same price as the encore) would perform similarly for v60.

\- Started with a Timemore C2 about a year ago, upgraded to a 1Zpresso JX Pro a few months later. \- Brew methods are Aeropress, French Press, and a Cafelat Robot, looking to purchase a decent soon and have a clever dripper on the way.

I’ve grounded both finer and coarser than my original grind setting on the JX Pro. I’ve also dropped the temperature like he recommended. But every time the coffee doesn’t taste good to me. Even when I ground a lot finer and was getting close to espresso range ( I also have an espresso machine) it still tasted weak and watery.

They fixed and sent it back to me and did not charge a penny. Not even for shipping, the whole thing took less than 3 weeks, I was really impressed, I konw I was under warranty, but other companies take forever to reply, and want to charge you shipping and taxes. I really give 5 stars, and recommend 1zpresso to all of you, not only are the grinders great, you can also be confident that if anything goes wrong, these are decent people and the wont try to blame you for the malfunction.
