 So with those carbon trekking poles and this Lanchan 2 Pro 10, it's a seriously ultra light package. Now we've got this three Full gear Lan Channel 2 Pro 10 from Campolists.com It was about I think just 150 pounds and that's just under 200. But that included the footprint too, which I think weighs just 150 grams

 It's a huge turn. I mean bearing in mind, this is a sub kilo tent. It's absolutely enormous. I was never expecting it to be this big

 But with this tent being so light with the trekking poles, I can still save weight. even though I'm taking trekking poles, It's just brilliant. Now, there's just two sort of drawbacks. Um, that I think I should point out with this tent

 Look at the size difference. It's Absolutely. and it's just ridiculous. Um, and it's not just the size, it's the fact that there's probably nearly one and a half kilos between the two

2021 3F UL Gear Lanshan 2 Pro Tent - The BEST trekking pole tent!

 *Came with a footprint. *Materials, sewing, and seam taping of floor seemed good quality. *Couple of hanging rings near the peaks inside for lamp, or can string a clothes line between them.  Con's- *Not being self-supported with a frame, can not be used as easily in some situations, on slickrock for example

 I'm used to 2 larger pockets and a mesh gear loft in my MSR Hubba NX 1 person tent, so will try to modify it to match. *Aluminum stakes are a bit short, may pull out in heavy wind. *It is prohibitively expensive for the producer to seam seal the silnylon tent canopy (but not the standard PU-coated bathtub floor), and so you will need to do that yourself, taking about 90 minutes. Make sure to get the correct seam sealant for silicone-impregnated nylon

Scaling down the weight of my solo backpacking kit, so picked this up, as I'm not willing to pay the high price of the cutting-edge Dyneema versions of similar single-wall trekking pole tents. After using for a couple of nights, my first impression is that it sets up fairly easily, but only under ideal conditions where you can get in the 8 necessary stakes.  Pro's- *Very lightweight for the amount of space. *2 doors and vestibules

 I think the lanchan one was about um, 800 something like that, but still 900 grams. For a budget lightweight trekking tent is a good start to me. Then of course with the tent, you get your pegs. There's a little repair kit at the bottom there

 10. Um, in terms of budget. So if you are looking for something super lightweight under a kilogram, which, of course this is, um, and you want a bit of a budget, then I think this could definitely be something worth looking at. It's also very, very spacious

 Uh, it's really large. It's really large in here. Um, I'm not massively tall. I'm five for eight and when I lay down, I have loads of room above my head and loads of room by my feet

 You've got all that ventilation with that nylon mesh just there. And of course, around the bottom there in case you didn't notice. So it is single skin so you might be worrying about condensation so I think the thinking behind it is any condensation would run down and then disappear through that mesh area there so you don't get too wet. One thing to bear in mind folks is that only one half of the inner opens

  Lots of upgrades from the original Lanshan 2: better cordage, better hardware, zipper pulls, reinforcements, and of course sizing is great for tall adults. Ventilation is good, no issues with condensation dripping into the tent.

The size of the inner tent is pretty average for two-person tents, with enough width for 2 x 20″ sleeping pads (41″ actual),  although the tent is lightweight enough that it can be used by a single person who wants more space to spread out.Materials and ConstructionThe LanShan 2 is made with PU-coated silnylon and is seam-taped to make it waterproof. However, there are many spots on the rainfly ridgeline and the side pullouts with extra stitching that you’ll want to seam-seal to prevent rain from leaking through the needle holes.
