 Now here's Risk of Rain 2 running on the B-Mix model, again 24-inch 1080p IPS with 75-hz refresh, and I'm getting pretty decent performance, and the odd thing is, without changing any of the graphics settings, here we are on the PBip model that goes up to 144hz, and getting well over 100 frames per second at times. This is Risk of Rain 2, it is a game that's still in development, so that could be part of the reason for it. The on-screen display menu is really easy to use, you have a toggle button at the bottom that's omnidirectional, then you have just a couple of regular buttons above that, but it allows you to navigate through, and you can turn FreeSync on or off, I have it enabled, you can display your refresh rate, and a couple of other things like adjusting colors and that type of thing. At around $200, you make sure you're looking for the PBip model, this is on the Acer

Help in choosing a laptop !

Hi,

I'm looking for a laptop for mainly Dota 2, Fortnite, Apex Legends (primarily Dota 2) type casual gaming along with youtube and browsing. I do not plan on playing any other titles or do video editing of any kind. I was looking at Asus Zephyrus G14 and HP Omen 15 and liked the Asus version more for build quality. There seem to be many variants in G14 and new RTX 30xx versions on the way. 

1. Ryzen 5/7 with 8G RAM and 4 GB NVIDIA GTX 1650 - 90K on Amazon
2. Ryzen 5/7 with 8G/16G RAM, 6 GB NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti MAX Q - 1.2 L on Amazon
3. Ryzen 9 with 16 G RAM, 8 GB NVIDIA GTX 2060 MAX Q - 1.4 L on Amazon

Based on my requirements please suggest from one of the above. 

Will upgrading from 8GB RAM to 16GB RAM make a lot of difference in FPS? 

Also is it worth upgrading from GTX 1650 - 1660 TI for Dota 2 or similar games? 

I feel the fully maxed out version is overkill for my requirements. I would be open to other laptops with similar build quality.
