I think Ultrawide's are absolutely incredible for gaming, and they turn a lot of beautiful single player games into an almost cinematic experience. After seeing and experiencing my friend's Acer Predator X34, I can 100% see why the hype is there for them, because they look downright incredible.

The old gen 100hz panels (the acer predator x34 had a refresh called the x34p which can be overclocked to 120hz) should be PASSED. the IPS glow on these monitors are RED/ORANGE/YELLOW. It is the worst. Also, the quality control is definitely not there with the Acer/ Asus units.

OLED has spoiled me. The colors and deep blacks have put me off buying another IPS or VA when my trusty Predator X34 retires, but it feels like there is a big hole in the market for a reasonably sized, reasonably priced OLED. I would gladly spend ~$1000 (CAD, so maybe $800 USD) for a 32” 4K 120hz or 27” 1440P 144hz OLED, but they’re all big TVs for $1200 USD or more. When do y’all think we’ll be getting OLEDs in the mainstream market?

Expensive, but the support treated me very well. I'm moving from an Acer Predator X34 at 100Hz that has been an absolutely awesome monitor for the past four years. But now with an FE 3090 it's time to upgrade.

We have an Acer Predator X34 curved ultra wide. Picked it up new four years ago.

So far the monitor has been great with no issues. Prior to that I used the Acer x34 which was also fantastic.
