Weird to navigate - and all I ever use is a trackball for years

Does anyone know of a trackball similar to the Trackman Marble 910-000806 mouse. I've used this model for the last ~10 years, and now it's just what I'm used to. I would just get another one, but I'm hoping for a middle-mouse/mouse wheel. I just need something similar in design and feel.

I used to use the Logitech M thumb ball trackballs (like the M570). I wasn't super-happy with the constant thumb movement, and with that particular ball I hated how fast the ball supports seemed to gunk up - as well as the hassle of cleaning it.

So when I moved to Mac, I got a Magic Trackpad. I love the Magic Trackpad, but I'm wondering if moving back to a large-ball trackball would alleviate some of my wrist discomfort.

Has anybody here done that? What was the result?

What is the closest thing to a Logitech Trackman Marble Mouse but with a scroll wheel?

 A lot of features in the software, apparently designed with variable sensitivity, precision controls, and profiles for gamers, enables really extensive programming of the buttons to almost anything you can think of, including keyboard keys. You need to figure out a hand positioning regarding the buttons, so as to have your trackball control finger exactly on the top of the ball for maximum precision. For me this means my fingers are at the back edges of the buttons, but that's OK as they still work fine. (They should have taken a cue from the Marble Mouse button positioning, but, hey, you can't have everything

Actually a Very Good Product, Under-Publicized, Under-Documented
