You can argue you could buy warranty on it from best buy I've stated this as well, but I've never had experience with best buy warranty so I did not want to risk that. The aw3821dw It works. The g sync is buttery SMOOTH no stuttering NO flickering, no loud fan noise ( people were asking) The colors look Great!

Given the choice between repeatedly cycling through monitors, or just moving on to something else, I went with the something else. Which lead me to the AW3821DW. I've only had it for a little bit so far, but here are my initial impressions:.

AW3821DW is simply the best 38" model, LG 38GL950G has true G-sync but with only HDR400 and loud fan, LG 38GN950G has HDR600 with local dimming but doesn't have real G-sync, while AW3821DW combines the advantages of the two since it has both HDR600 and true G-sync with much quieter fan, inaudible according to reports. Then you also have other Dell related advantages like way superior warranty and QC.
