I feel that this is essentially a perfect product. As for the 3600 X, I'm actually going to give it three and a half out of five stars.

The biggest surprise was the GPU, which topped at 79c during Heaven or playing RE2R at 1440p high settings for over an hour. I'm afraid to run FurMark, because it recently fried one of my cards, so you'll have to excuse me for not using it. Regardless, I think these numbers are not too bad, considering that we only have two small rads and the tiny fans that are running at only up to around 50 percent speed at these temps and aren't that loud, leaving a bit more headroom for cooling if I ever want to blast the fans at 100%.

The Intel competition currently lacks this last feature, and combined with multithreading support, it firmly tips the scales in the Ryzen 5 3600X's favor, at least in the eyes of the future-proofing enthusiast. I am looking to upgrade my Ryzen 5 3600x to something that will better suit my daily workflow and gaming. I use multiple resource-heavy programs all day including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Vegas PRO, and SketchUp with V-Ray for rendering and many times I am using two or more of these programs simultaneously. The 3600X has been an absolute beast, however hitches begin to show as I open more and more processes. I am looking to upgrade to one of the following CPUs: 3700x, 3900x, 5600x, 5800x.
