What kind of amp do you use, and why do you like it?

 This provides up to 10 decibels of boost or 20 decibels of cut at the selected frequency. The mid-range frequency output is flat at the center position. So the bass control adjusts the low frequency level of the amplifier. This provides up to 12 decibels of boost or 12 decibels of cut at 40 hertz

 You've also got a preamp out, power amp in and a slave output here. The ladder allows you to push the front end on another amp or run direct into a PA or mixer. A single balanced XLR output is here as well. A ground lift switch helps you cut buzz if it arises

Bass amp recs please !

 This is it clean. I'm going to play some power chords man. I don't think there's much else to say. Really? That just said everything for me

 And quite dinky compared to this thing, you know, it was like half the size maybe, or just a little bit, a little bit more, but this is something on a completely different scale. And this is 300 watts, 300, full valve as well. We're not messing around with any preamp nonsense here. This is like power valve as well

I don't want to just get a cheap entry level guitar that will need upgraded after a year or so.

Can anyone recommend some options?

I'm looking at an Ibanez GSR180, but I've also seen a heavily discounted Colt GB54P on the same website.

Any help would be much appreciated
