 I purchased this cable one year ago and after having it replaced by Anker twice, I've only had it work for a week or two at most, first time round was not working out the box, only good for charging. My 3+ year old Anker powerline cable (the predecessor to this model) works just fine for CarPlay, as does the lighting cable included in the box, as I've used it until the connectors corroded to the point it no longer worked with CarPlay. This on the other hand, brand new with no visual degradation and it just disconnects whenever it feels like it wants to. Normally I have good faith in MFI certified products and Anker stuff in general, but this one is a hard pass for me

 so pretty bandwidth heavy stuff using the entire cables data pair, needing a reliable connection to them to function correctly. This cable cannot do that. Anker no longer offers a lifetime warranty on their 24K gold charging cable. It’s now only 18 months.

Deceptively Rugged Appearance - Glass Jaw Performance

I want to buy a bunch of USB C2C cables just so I don't have to worry about them in the near future. 100W ones seem to have the same price (or really close) as the "up to" 60W ones. But then I DON'T want a heavy &amp; thick cable which will be a PITA while charging my phone or other small gadget... What's your opinion?

How to reduce chargers?

 It might stop for a while, but it starts again after a brief moment. I don’t experience this issue with any of my other (Apple OEM) charging cables, so it isn’t my phone.  I love Anker and their products, they are typically high quality and top-notch, and their support is great. I may have ended up with a lemon, but this is the second time I’ve had a problem with an Anker cable, so maybe I’ll just stick with Apple’s cables

UPDATE: Anker did reach out to me and sent a replacement cable, no charge. It has held up well since, but I don’t use it as frequently as I otherwise would have since I ended up buying a Apple lightning cable before I received the replacement. I'm planning to travel trough Asia mid-next year again, but want to stay for a few months this time. I aspire to do this in one-bag travel, but as I am working as a designer representing a fashion brand and visiting multiple suppliers, factories and business partners on the way I'd at least have to bring one suit and a range of outfits. This is my packing list I am currently planning:

Clothing (in PD Medium &amp; Small Packing Cubes)

\- Ministry of Supply Suit Jacket (thinking of dark Grey or Black)

\- Ministry of Supply Suit Pants

\- One pair of Chinos

\- One short for workout

The white sneakers are a bit too much luxury to my taste, but I **really** like white Sneakers with black outfits, and they don't take up that much space in the bag.

Maybe you folks have some input? Would really appreciate!!
