 It's also, infuriatingly, saddled with an OS that still embraces a 2012-era idea of tablet computing. The result is an amazing tablet that can't quite justify its luxury-laptop-level price, because you still need a computer running a non-tablet OS if you want to open more than three windows or use a second monitor.

 Or you need to take elements from two emails and a bunch of Facebook messages and slot them into a spreadsheet, which you would also like to keep open as you paste it into PowerPoint. There is an iPad workflow that lets you do these things, but it involves a lot of flipping apps back and forth; it's much more awkward than on MacOS or Windows. (And don't get me started on transferring files between apps, which at least is now possible but is often more complex than it needs to be.)

The XDR display on the 12.9-inch (and only the 12.9-inch) iPad Pro is staggeringly good. Instead of a handful of backlights like on most LCDs, or self-illuminating pixels like on OLEDs, this screen has 10,000 tiny LED backlights divided into 2,500 "local dimming zones

 (The iPad Air is the runner-up.) When playing "All The Things That I've Done" by the Killers on YouTube, for instance, I heard everything from the high-hats to the organ overtones; many of those sounds are missing when I listen to the song on cheap tablets or my laptop.

However, in terms of battery life and performance, neither Microsoft's nor Samsung's alternatives can match Apple. Typically, Android tablets like the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus do not offer as many software updates as Apple's tablets do, either

Just got my Pixel 6. I had noticed that the side bezels looked quite thick in the photos. Now I have mine, it is noticeable to me how, despite the phone being almost exactly the same width as my OnePlus 3, the display is significantly narrower. I guess this means it'll be easier to hold without accidentally registering screen presses, but I am kind of disappointed that the display on my new phone is actually smaller in one dimension than my old one, albeit larger overall. Still, I'm pretty happy otherwise so far.

These are not leaks any more it's the final design like Google officially released renders of the phones and people got off camera hands on with them

We've seen how Google pulled it off in pixel 5 with the all around symmetrical bezels and now I wonder why they are taking the weird way again with the pixel 6's design, atleast on the front (because the back is kinda cool). It looks very much like a Galaxy Note especially with the pro model. Don't get me wrong, there is so much to be excited about the pixel 6 and the bezels are one of the few details that users might not be a concern once they use it. But it just shows that Google really lacks consistency on how they make a product. It doesn't need to be razor thin bezels, just make it symmetrical.

Still, pixel is a good phone.

Those bezels are a deal breaker, I'll be so heated when I buy the Pixel 6 and then I see the Pixel 7 has no bezels so I'm just going to skip the Pixel 6

(Pixel 5 owner) I hope these leaks aren't the final design for the 6 &amp; 6 Pro like what happened with the Pixel 5 because I honestly feel like the Pixel 5 still has the best uniform all around symmetric bezels on a Android (Even on all four sides with just a small hole punch). I like the new design but with all the leaks all I can see is the ugly top and bottom bezels on the 6 being thicker than the sides an I dnt care for that uneven Samsung look. Anybody else feel this way or it's not a big deal to you ?

Bezels on the Pixel 6 are ugly 😵

9”, this is not as big of an improvement as I thought it would be.  Yes, this is faster but unless you’re a pro or gamer, you probably won’t notice a big difference from the chips a few years ago.  The picture, taken on my iPhone XS max, shows a comparison between the 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9 from 2018 (right) and the new one (left)
