 Iphones usually have excellent video quality, and naturally the Iphone 13 Mini can capture some of the best video in the mobile business. During the day, footage is great, dynamic range is wide, and colors are lively. The Ultrawide is just as good and it captures some of the best footage we've seen from an Ultra wide so far. There's great parity with the main camera as far as color, exposure and dynamic range are concerned

 The Ultrawide camera shoots some of the widest photos we've seen. The details were okay, contrast was great, noise was low, and colors were very accurate. The dynamic range is well balanced here too. Again, we weren't impressed by how it handles foliage and there's no auto focus here like on the iphone pro models

 Night mode is triggered automatically in lower light. Photos from the main camera looked really nice, exposure was balanced, contrast was great, and color saturation was superb. Detail and sharpness were outstanding as well. The Ultrawide camera also supports the auto night mode

Assuming you’re starting with a good foundation, I think the list of what really makes a big difference in phone upgrades is actually short. The first thing on the list is improved battery life. The second is an improved camera.

Video quality is great. The main camera has sensor stabilization, which helps when you’re walking around. It can do all the modes that matter in terms of 4K and slow mo and handles them all super well. 

Just like the battery, the improvement to the wide-angle camera sensor is simple: make it bigger. A bigger camera sensor is able to take in more light more quickly and produce better results. Apple happened to have just such a sensor lying around: the one from last year’s iPhone 12 Pro Max.

 They're 6.99 for a 128 gigabyte model, and while that is 100 cheaper than the regular iphone 13, you can find an even better deal on Amazon or Ebay on Amazon. I see these going for about five hundred and ninety dollars for a refurbished model, or you can turn to ebay to get a mint condition used one for anywhere from about five hundred and twenty dollars to six hundred dollars. and I would only go for the gigabyte model if I were you

 I think it's great for busy people people who just don't have a lot of time to be on their phone, but they need something small and compact that gets decent battery life. Now, if you currently have a 13 Mini, should you consider upgrading and will there be another mini iphone? Well, we don't know for sure what Apple's going to do yet, but rumors do suggest that Apple will not have a 14 Mini, but rather the new mini iphone will be the Iphone Se in the near future

I can certainly cut some other options down here. At $699, the iPhone 13 mini is a better choice than a $699 iPhone 12, and it's worth the premium over the $599 iPhone 12 mini because of better battery life. I'd even go down so far as to say to get this over the $499 iPhone 11, because our tests show better battery life than the 11, and 5G will genuinely help with coverage and signal quality over the next two years.

And that battery life comes running all of the same features as its larger sibling, with no throttling, reduced camera quality, or lesser signal performance. The mini really does hold its own in the iPhone family.

It's been visible on my 12 mini since launch. Literally haven't heard anyone make a big issue of it for a whole year, but now it's an issue...
