I moved from iPhone 7 to Pixel 5 last week. A few hours of hell, then about a week if getting things how I like them. I'm happy now. You may need some apple hate to get through those first few hours

Made the move from an iPhone 11 Pro to the Pixel 4a. I know not the 5 lol so you might not care about my experience but thus far it's been awesome :) only my Apple exclusive friends are upset my texts are green now and honestly it's not that big of a deal. The battery life on this thing is amazing, photos are nice. Little things like the fingerprint scanner has been a life saving with COVID and masks! My only gripe so far is alot of my main apps, Facebook and  Twitter, default to the camera gallery for photos. I have to find the photo on Google Photos and share it from there. The size and weight of the Pixel 4a felt weird at first, so light haha. But now it's great. 

End of the day. Happy I made the switch. I've still got my work iphone XR and my personal iPad and MacBook to stream NFL Redzone 😂 but find myself using my Pixel 4a for everything.

I switched over from the iPhone  XR. love the freedom of Android. Honestly the only reasons not to switch would be, already being invested into the ecosystem & app support.

Just switched from iPhone 8 to Pixel 5. First time switching from ios to android. The notifications and conversations are seperate and I hate that part. I constantly miss messages because they don't appear at the top like on an iPhone and recording videos on Instagram and tiktok has lag and dropped frames. 

Other than that I love the pixel 5. Battery is amazing, looks beautiful and love the fingerprint on the back.

Thinking to move from iPhone to Pixel 5

 After one customer service agent saying they were simply too busy to talk on the phone and trying to explain what the problem was and how to fix it despite me telling them that I had already tried that and it didn't work, another customer service agent called me and told me they'd issue me a refund and then ship it back with a prepaid label after I was able to find a new phone. The phone did work with TMobile, as mentioned by other users, though the fact that the button broke less than a month after I received it was still frustrating. I do appreciate the last customer service agent's help.

 She said I could return it for a refund. That would obviously leave me without a phone so I decided to wait and see if I could get it fixed at a shop for cheap (update: it's not a cheap fix). Now two months into having the phone, the phone randomly restarted overnight and became locked again. After calling my carrier, they (and a local phone store) said that the phone's contract must have expired overnight and the phone was turned off

 It's been a headache.  UPDATE: I changed it up to three stars from one star. Life-long Android user here, who now owns an iPhone 12 Pro Max for \~8mo.

I can't wait to get rid of the iPhone. 

Yes, the iPhone has an amazing build quality, great battery life, and great cameras. But to me the major pros end there. 

For me the iOS experience ruins it, but it is an extremely personal feeling. After 8 months I just can't get used to the way iOS handles things. Maybe I was just so used to Android that it makes the iOS experience a rough ride. Idk. But if not for the Pixel 6, I may try the Sony Xperia 1 III. 

Regardless, the iPhone is going.

I’ve been an iPhone user for the last 2-3 years and I’ve been waiting for a "full package" Pixel since the day I switched. 

I’ll l need this pixel to be really good though cause even if I prefer android over IOS, the iPhone is an incredible device. I also have the watch series 5 so I’ll need a pixel watch announced for me to switch back. My AirPods are a non-factor though, I already use my Jabras over my AirPods most of the time cause AirPods sucks balls.

iPhone Mini here and I’m waiting to see what the 5a brings. I want a bigger screen again and something with better battery life. I am also disappointed with the route Apple is going down. They have ads out right now with the tag line “privacy. That’s iPhone” and they pull this recent stunt. I feel like dropping them out of principal. Google collects your data like it’s oxygen but at least they don’t act high and mighty with their privacy approach. I want to try Graphene Os when it get released for the 5a

I'm on my second 2XL because the first one was replaced under warranty due to some camera bug. I was all on board with the Pixel train. Best phone & camera I ever owned. After 2 years I was ready to upgrade... The Pixel 4 was a mess with bad build quality & battery issues. So I waited a year, and Pixel gave up with the sub par budget Pixel 5.

If Google didn't make a real phone this year (P6 Pro), I'd have to choose between Samsung Note Ultra with heavy mods, or a Sony Xperia 1 III.... Because fuck tim apple.

Waiting? no. Watching? yes. Curious to see how well the new silicon pans out. Google finally building a device with more storage is also intriguing. I still have a Pixel 3 in which I take with me on occasion if I want a guaranteed good picture. iPhone 12 Pro pics are usually fantastic but I still can't trust that every pic I take will be great. Video on the iPhones blows away anything that the Pixel line has offered up until this point, I will be watching that also. With all of that said, I prefer Android over iOS and will be watching to see if this phone performs up to expectations.

Hmm, I am really interested in the 6 pro, but I an also looking at the upcoming Galaxy Fold 3. 

The thought of reading comics on a foldable is great, but I am a bit skeptical of the durability, so I am not entirely sure yet.

I definitely have my eye on it. I’ve had the Nexus 5, 6P, Pixel 2xl, and pixel 3a. Gave my pixel 3a to my dad and I still have my pixel 2xl, but my daily phone is an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I switched mainly for the software support. 2-3 years just isn’t enough for $1000+ phones IMO. Now that the pixel 6 has their own chip and is supposedly getting 5 years of updates, I may consider switching back. But I gotta say I love this 12 pro Max though.

Gave my pixel 3a to my dad and I still have my pixel 2xl, but my daily phone is an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I switched mainly for the software support. 2-3 years just isn’t enough for $1000+ phones IMO. Now that the pixel 6 has their own chip and is supposedly getting 5 years of updates, I may consider switching back. But I gotta say I love this 12 pro Max though.</p>

I use both platforms. My daily is a iPhone 12 Pro and my secondary # / work phone is a pixel 5. My wife has a 4 xl. I like to keep relevant with Apple side and software (running iOS 15 beta currently) and my pixel 5 has android 12. Can’t say I like one or the other more, currently the 12 pro pictures are real good, but that comes down to three cameras and choice. Pixel 6 pro brings in custom soc, new cameras, and android 12 at launch and I can’t imagine it will disappoint all to much so most likely pixel 6 pro becomes my daily and my iPhone 12 Pro becomes my work phone haha. How it crumbles in my land.
