I've had my eye on a 12 Pro. I have a Note 9 and hated iPhones for a while, but iOS isn't nearly as bad as I thought.

Well yea... thanks to the end of year relate date for iPhones. 

But 9 out of 10 activations is still surprising, I guess not everyone wants to have a Samsung phone with ads in the weather app 🤷‍♂️

Kind of a no brainer. The s line will be announced in a week or so, so why would you buy an s phone in December. The note is released in August. 

The only late release samsung phones are the most expensive ones, and with new phones coming in around 30 days it makes sense. 

Hell some of the new iphones didn't even release until December.

I just hate how Samsung charges for their flagship, been a note loyalist since years, now i can't help but pay 1300$ for it.

I am an samsung user. I will say apple is probably the best along with Google when it comes to mobile software. Huawei was closer to beating this. Though it lost in the end.

I got both pixel 3a and 12 pro max. i can say android on pixel was better than ios

\- keyboard sound and vibrate

\- Alarm connected with any music services

\- Consistent navigation

\- Text copy and paste much easier

\- Notification much cleaner

I feel like my phone spoils me so much that when I try to use another type of phone I want to throw a tantrum (and the phone) for making me work harder. I never knew other phone companies force fed it customers ads! How awful!

iPhone leads December smartphone activations in the US, significantly outpacing Samsung

It is a mighty Bruce Lee of a phone that gets the job done, and far more. It is a good phone, what can I say?

  The "refreshed" iphones work well and we find they are quite handy, though we have, to date, refrained from the habit we see everywhere of people quickly pulling out their smart-phone at every opportunity and waving it around in front of their face. If we ever reach that point of insane phone-mania, we'll have to go back to using a taut string with two tin cans for our communications.

 We used the SIM cards from our old phones using the "Speed-Talk" (T-Mobile) network; these SIM cards came from cellular plans we bought from Speed-Talk on Amazon, and once the SIM cards were inserted, the phones worked perfectly.  As of April 2021, the iPhone 8 supports the latest iOS operating system updates, and hopefully will remain on Apple's "security update" list for a number of years to come.  Our experience with the two iPhone 8's, (used in conjunction with a late model Apple iPad), has us agreeing that Apple has created an excellent interlocking system for personal communications, which explains the popularity of the iPhone and its cousin, the iPad.  It is worth mentioning that the function of "iCloud," (Apple's server farms) which serves as a continuous (free for five gigabytes of space) backup system for your "i"-devices; also works as a means to share notes, photos, email, calendars, and contact lists and can be accessed online using a web browser from any computer, no matter what the operating system

Better Than New, It's USED (A Good "used" Product)

No regret.  The previous two years, I bought the Pro Max models.  But, I wanted smaller and lighter this year.  The regular 12 was the lightest of the three larger screen models.  The non-pro model this year has the higher resolution OLED screen like the pro, so I wouldn’t be giving up that by going with the 12.  (The small difference in max brightness has been no big deal for me.)  I’m not a photographer and don’t need the fancier camera set up.  

Performance has been great.  My battery lasts more than 24 hours.  And, after a few days, I was completely used to the smaller screen size compared to the Maxes I’d had previously.  The 12 has been a good choice for me.

Went with the pro Max and have no regrets. Coming from iPhone 8+ so the size did not worry me. The camera is awesome and the battery life is unbelievable - which were the 2 things I cared about the most.

I bought the 12 pro max and returned it a week later for the 12. IMO the pro lineup this year is lackluster and the 12 is perfect for my needs. No regrets

I got the mini, and not at all. I was torn between this and the pro since I wanted a higher storage. 
I can fit this baby in all my pockets sooo easy it is insanely easy to handle!
As for diff from the pro, I don’t know why I would want the lidar or a the telephoto lens. I had another phone with a way more intense zoom and I never used it.

I have had the 12 mini for over a month now, and I love it so much. Not only do I carry small purses, but I also have a chronic illness with one symptom being joint pain (aka my wrists). I had the 11 before and it was extremely painful after a while to hold my phone. The mini is everything I’ve been waiting for since the iPhone X released.

I went from a 6S to the XR two years ago and have just ordered a 12 Pro.  Despite it being a good upgrade from the XR with the same size screen, the phone itself is slightly smaller and lighter.  Don't think I could go back to a smaller screen.
