Arc'teryx Brize 32 Backpack - Unboxing and Initial Review

This might be old news, but I just figured this out. The '32° Degrees Cool' 'comfort mesh' boxer briefs have the same 88% Nylon | 12% Spandex blend as my beloved but pricey Exofficio 'Give n Go' but are 6 for $27+tax! I haven't had them long to speak to durability, but I'm quite pleased so far and will likely transition over.

Has anyone had them in rotation for a while already?

My search is over, 32 Degree knock-off Exofficio underwear (which I call Unoffcio) are great!

 This one in particular has a reverse facing lid and what that does for you is when you're wearing it on the trails or biking. Any kind of weather bounces right off this shield and keeps the pack clean and you're on your items inside clean. Another thing that we want to liver was good at ventilation air flow. Arc’teryx Brize Backpack | Outdoor 2016

I feel there's a decent fan base of the Uniqlo Airsim line here. I love them. The 32 degrees version is... ok to me for my use (an actual light undershirt; also, the 32deg collar deforms quickly). But what I really like is the Airism mesh. And it seems 32 Degrees now has a mesh version at Costco, $17 for a pack of 4 (white or black).

It's still not the same. The mesh factor doesn't reduce the "weightiness" feeling. Still feels a bit heavy/thick. I'm not sure it'll be enough to make it more breathable in a significant manner. But it was waaaay cheaper, lol.

 To pull the shoulder straps just a little bit more than usual. To change the center of gravity in the top lid by pulling it toward your body.. If you do this, the weight moves towards your body

 Please take care. If you want to carry and put some specific items in the top lid or front pocket., I tried `` how many t-shirts can I put in these pockets when the main compartment is almost full.''? I have no idea if this trial will help you or not

【REVIEW】Is Arc'teryx Brize 32 the Best or Not!? 【English Sub】

Hi guys,

Looking to get a new simple day pack that I can use for everything. I've been through having bags for every purpose in the past and want to simplify. 

My main purpose started as a backpack I could throw small tackle boxes and day gear in for fishing. But ideally I want something that could work as a carry-on bag for flights, getting around cities while travelling, and carrying minimal camera gear in some existing inserts

I've pretty much narrowed it down to:

* Patagonia Black Hole 25L
* Arc'teryx Brize 25L
* Topo Rover Tech Pack

I've looked at countless reviews but would love some input. This slimmer style &amp; size is the sweet spot I'm after. Rugged, any additional attachment points, etc.. is a bonus

If anyone owns or has used these, I'd love some feedback!

Help me choose - Patagonia/Arc'teryx/Topo

I used this pack on the Camino Frances for a duration of 31 days. As an industrial designer I appreaciate the thought put into the design of the pack, streamlined ,minimal, wind shedding, top lids forward directional closure, etc; however, I question the durability, after just a month of use,the connection point where the top lid buckles are adhered to the bag are wearing through the bag material itself. With only one month of use, this is surprising, especially since these areas are located on the interior of the pack and are only subject to repeated open/closure; this area needs to be reinforced, or potentially redesigned.

I’m going to take the bag once more, this time to the Camino Norte for 40 days, I’ll update the state of the bag and if any failure occurs due to the aforementioned issue.

Great minimal design, execution questionable

I've used this for 4 hikes now.  Wanted a basic, top loading, comfortable and versatile bag to use on day trips in the mountains  Which this is.

Whats with the lid?

I replaced a Mammut Creon 30 zip, which had a comparable volume size, with the Brize 32, after a spring of constant back/shoulder pain. Despite having good padding and an air mesh suspension, the back never seemed to feel synched to my body, nor was the one, single compartment appropriate for organization. 

The sternum strap is adjustable with 5 different heights and does a good job of comfortably hugging the pack to your torso.

So far on day hikes, I have loaded the Brize 32 with appropriate weight, such as food, water, camera gear, clothing, and trekking poles. The weight seems to disappear with the Aeroform back mesh, which breathes better and is more supportive than my old Mammut's air suspension. I didn't have any soaking wet back issues in the humid summer weather of the Northeast on steep, technical ascents. The pack takes sudden scrambles and steep descents in stride

2. I can’t be the only person who hates taking my pack off to grab a small snack. Please consider adding mesh pockets to the waist straps (like the Altra).

3. These packs yearn to be outside because that’s exactly what they’re made for.  PLEASE add safety whistle chest strap fastex buckles!  I’ve stripped all of my Osprey packs of their fastex buckles & added them to my Arc packs.  This one little addition is inexpensive & provides a safety device for users
