The Arc'teryx Kyanite AR Hoody scored exceptionally high marks in every metric. It has a great weight-to-warmth ratio and most importantly feels incredibly comfortable. The brushed fleece lining makes it one of the most comfortable fleeces on the market. The slim cut still accommodates wide-set shoulders without creating any hotspots in the armpits or shoulders partially because of the stretchy nature of the fleece. Our testers loved climbing, skiing, and hiking in this piece. The scuba-style hood fits underneath climbing helmets and keeps cold air out while trapping hard-won body heat inside. 
This piece really only has a few downsides. For high output activity in the spring and summer, this fleece offers less-than-perfect breathability when early morning and evening temps are rising. The fleece also lacks thumb loops built into the cuffs. While inconsequential as a stand-alone piece when layering, thumb loops prevent the jacket from bunching up. Ideal for cold-weather pursuits, this jacket provides added warmth when thinner gridded fleece fail.

 So this is a really nice soft fleece. It's got a nice kind of like a silky sheen on the outside, very soft, and the inside is a very soft, like, almost like cotton balls fleece. Very comfortable, very stretchy, okay? It is definitely a stretchy piece, and it fits kind of, I would say, in the middle to upper warmth category, if you want to say, of all the Arteryx fleeces, okay? So the Delta LT and the Kyanite LT are definitely a lot lighter, okay? If you guys have seen some of my other videos, I have a video on the Kyanite LT, and this is definitely one of my favorite pieces that I own from Arteryx. I love this jacket

 This is the Kyanite AR. So I'm going to do a whole review here about the Kyanite AR, and we're going to compare it to some of my other fleeces, and we're also going to look at layering with other jackets as well, okay? So this is a brand new piece for me. I just got this thing. This is a color called Daze

 So this is a new one. It's a new color out called Daze, and when I saw the color, I just said, that's the one. I got to get that one, only because it can go with so many other different jackets that I have, like, really nice color-wise. So yeah, so I decided to pick it up

The Arc'teryx Kyanite AR Review

 Sean Sewell in Gamer.com. This is the Arc'teryx Kionite LT midlayer fleece jacket. This is a proprietary material from Arc'teryx, offers a lot of breathability, buttery smooth for layering, so it'll slide nicely under a soft shell or a hard shell, and it's very soft against the skin

 I feel like this is more of a regular fit, but I don't know. Just my opinion, you tell me what you think. The length on the arms is adequate. It's not terribly long and it's not too short

I really don't think these are meant to be fashion pieces that are going to look pristine for the duration of ownership. Do expect some wear and tear relatively quick especially if you expose it to backpack straps or to seat belts

 All the benefits are for fit. Excellent jacket. A good essential piece to add to your collection. It's going to add a lot to your outdoor adventuring
