What does everyone think about the new fastforwards from J. Ski?

I am thinking about picking up a pair to use as my daily driver for the east coast. I haven't had the chance to demo a wide variety of skis so any input is appreciated. 

They sound like they will make an awesome groomer/tree ski. But I am worried they might be a bit too stiff/heavy for butters/side hits/the occasional park lap. 

I'm also considering skis like the Armada ARV, Armada Edollo, season eqpt aero,

Thoughts on the J. Ski fastforward

I tend to go with a group so will spend a fair bit of time on piste but would like something that would give me the ability to hold my own off the sides of the piste, in the trees and in my first steps in the park. I am looking for a twin tip ski for the ease of release of turns, the ability to backtrack more easily in trees, the more central binding mounting balance and to learn to ski switch on. I’ve got my list down to the following:. - Armada ARV 86 184cm

Armada ARV is one of the most tried and true skis out there. Extremely durable, good in everything. Rock solid all s as round and have pretty dope graphics too.

I’ve been looking for skis that are good for all mountain, but can also shred well in the park, I think the line chronics, armada arv 86, line blade, and the K2 reckoner, I’ve heard a bit about all of them that makes me think they’re good for me, but I’ve also heard other stuff that makes them all sound different then I hoped, I was just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on these skis or any other good options to consider?

All mountain/park skis

Haven't taken them out yet but I just got a pair of the armada ARV 106s, was looking for a similar ski to what you're looking for and most people I talked to on reddit said it was the most playful without sacrificing any performance elsewhere

I’m looking for something with twin tips, more playful with around a 100mm waist to handle some soft snow, but won’t get beat up in a season. Anyone know if sir francis bacons hold up? I’m interested in these, candide 2.0’s, and black crow camox’s. I typically like to charge pretty hard on piste but want something I can hit some powder with and play around with more. (budget isn’t endless, I’m a college student)

I typically ski in Western North America, notably Idaho, Utah, and California.

New Skis…

The Armada ARV 86 and 96 are both great park skis. I have the 86 and they a lot of fun to ride, and with quite soft tip and tails theyre quite easy to butter with wherever you want to.

So I want a park/buttery ski for next season. I'm planning to do spins, butters, grinds and probably not big jumps that much. I can't do any tricks other than to ride a tube, I know how to carve and break and all that good stuff. I'm a male teen, 50kg (111lbs) and 175cm (5'10"(?) idk) if that helps at all. I live in Finland.

I've had some cheap beginner Fischer skis, they're not really meant for park/tricks. I've looked around on blue-tomato and some other local shops and something that has caught my eye are the Völkl Bash 86 skis. Sadly I can't find a place to buy it anywhere so are the Völkl Bash 81's as good or good enough for me? They have a nice price tag and are shippable to me without any additional costs. Would you recommend them or something else? Preferred to be under 350€!

In conclusion: 50kg/175cm/male wants a good ski for park which is decently buttery, are the Völkl Bash 81's good for me/what could be a better alternative to it that doesn't exceed over 350€. Thanks!

Ski recommendations, please

Bent chetlers are always a safe choice, but Icelantic nomad 105s and armada arv 106 are also very good skis that are a bit more playful

I am looking to get a new pair of skis to join the quiver. Right now I currently have a pair of Black Crow Camoxs, a pair of N168 Northlands, and a pair of Stockli GS world cup Fis skis lmao. I used to race years ago and still love ripping groomers and hauling ass. But in the past few years, I have found that I have the most fun sending it through the crud and jumping off of shit. I also enjoy the steeps.

 I think I am looking for something more playful than my daily driver black crows right now. they seem stiff for some of the things I want to do, ie butters. I don't spend any time hitting rails and I don't see myself starting but I do love the kickers and rollers in the park on a nice spring day. Right now there are 5 skis I am looking at that will become my new everyday skis. the Sir Francis bacons, the black crow atris, the Sakanas, the deathwishes, the Hotshots and the Bent chetlers. If you have any other suggestions I am all ears thanks!

Armada Arv 96 and salomon sth 13, haven’t used them yet, bought them at the end of the season and saved 225€, it’s the middle of july and I can’t wait for wintertime to come around

I'm an advanced skier, 6'4" about 175 and I'm looking for some skis to get into park with. I ski primarily blacks and the odd double and I want to continue doing that.  I was looking into line chronics and k2 poachers, but heard lines were shit due to delamination, etc. So if anyone has any advice or some pointers on what ski I should get it would be much appreciated :)

Looking for east coast all mountain skis

 The Atomic Bent Chetler 90 (175cm) is an AMAZING set of sticks! Theyâre lightweight, playful and stable at speed. For a ski without metal, they sure skied like they do. I had no issues skiing the 175cm and skied shorter. I would recommend these skis for anyone looking to the hit up the groomed paths, park and trees
