 So overall, if you are able to properly calibrate this display, then it's well worth considering, especially as its prices dropped a little recently, putting it closer to its rivals. If not though, then you've got to weigh up when you're willing to gamble on being able to get a great image from this display or whether you'd rather buy an alternative that comes a better out-of-the-box image quality. [music] The Asus Mg279q tidy stand design makes it look far smarter than most of its competitors. They notably, it isn't as nice as Aces most premium PG monitors, such as the PG 2, 7, 8, Q nontheless. The stand is also a practical one. It offers a full range of ergonomic adjustments and provides a really solid foundation for the display

 However, Asus as well and truly failed to get the best from this panel. Whichever of the image presets you choose, color accuracy is poor and there's a slight dull grayness to the image from its gamma being set to low. What's more, that's when the displays at 60 Hertz switch to 144 Hertz and it gets worse. Thankfully though, if you are able to calibrate this display properly, it can be brought into line

Asus MG248Q review - a premium 24inch Freesync display

 Stick around for this awesome video. So as the sticker suggests, this is the Mg 2 for 8 Q It's a one-millisecond 144. it's gaming monitor which is actually quite interesting. It doesn't feature the free sync functionality anywhere on this or product or box I Believe this is just because it's got the Nvidia 3d vision and branding and to that's obviously a bit conflicting

 Only stand which does look pretty stylish. You have a pass-through which is a little bit difficult to pull the plastic panel off, its just kind of friction pit in the back and but overall you have some very very thin bezels which actually really nice. Follows on from the PG 2 7, 8 Q So I was styling which is pretty awesome and on the right hand side you have the menu buttons. Now these are a hat switch for the generals of menu operation close a game first menu as well as the gaming settings of the general color settings and the on/off button on the back

He looks very stylish ops of angles kind of circuit board II gaming design which looks awesome and can be removed if you want to use that laser mount you have 130 millimetres of height, adjust 33 degrees to -5 degrees of tilt, 90 degrees to 90 degrees of rotation which is a bit more than usual and 90 degrees of VAS of rotation put in portrait mode which is nice that that's a feature though otherwise this is a set. A pretty nice monitor in terms of viewing angles
