Hi guys! welcome back to the tech chat today! We're viewing the brand new A Soos Rock Swift PG 24 8 Q is 24 inches. It's got a 1080p resolution and it uses a TN panel. Nothing willing to get excited about there. but then you factor in the ridiculous 180 Hertz refresh rate 1 millisecond response time and videos, g-sync and 3d vision and you've got yourself a terrific little gaming monitor

 Now some of you may be thinking 24 inches is a bit small these days. if you're looking to upgrade and you might want something more like a 27-inch one, well, that's fair, but then I Wouldn't recommend a 27-inch monitor that has a 1080p resolution because the pixel per inch density is too low and things get a bit blurry. So if you are going to go with 27 inches, you really need a 1440p or quad HD resolution. And what happens then? while your frame waiting games takes a massive hit as it's pushing all those extra pixels

 But if you go into the on-screen menu the OSD the top option is overclocking and all you do is post a couple buttons, turn on, walk up to 180 and you've got 180 Hertz refresh rate monitor. That's all we need to do so. The size and the resolution makes sense for the hundred 80 Hertz refresh rate. and since it's primarily aimed at gamers, the TN panels one millisecond greater great response time will be ideal for those fast paced games where you don't want any ghosting

 of course, the downside of any TN compared to say an IPS is generally the colours aren't as accurate and the viewing angles on great. The good news though is that the PG 24 HQ is actually pretty good for a TN and it's much better than its bigger, more expensive brother, the PG 27 8 Q. There's no Sun of the horrible purple color shift that I saw on that one when you look down on it, and even though you know there is definitely a sweet spot for it, you do want to look at it straight on if you turn it maybe 20 degrees off-center You do get a little bit of a yellow color shift, but generally it's actually very impressive for a TN and the cars are pretty good too on the 8 it panel, but I have found the contrast ratio just to be a little bit weak. It doesn't have those inky deep blacks or which natural whites you get with IPS is, but compared to other TNS it's really, really good

 it's not amazing by any stretch of the imagination I Think it does a good job in terms of being responsive, but given the fact that it's 400 pounds I Think there's a lot more than this. this monitor can do is pretty much aimed at these professional or guys who wants to take it really professional and in that respect I Just feel that it's just a little bit hit and miss if it just did ghosting better like it could handle ghosting better but yet have that overdrive on extreme then I would have much preferred it and I would have more actively recommended it. Let's put it that way, but nevertheless, it is a 400 plan monitor and I'm reviewing it as a consumer or someone that has reviewed over 50 60 odd monitors and personally I can't see myself recommending this over other monitors that are aimed at people who take gaming very seriously because you can buy if you're playing. Counter Strike You don't need g-sync so you're gonna save yourself the money for g-sync You're not gonna get that

 but functionality just because of the overall viewing angles which mean you do have to sit quite central to it. I'm gonna go with the 4 point 5. styling has to be a 5. It's awesome and touching

So you sent me their PG - for 8q No, this is a 24 inch 1920 by 1080 hundred 80 Hertz G-sync gaming monitor. Quite a few tags is also designed to be kind of a professional overwatch Csgo tech monitor, so when you see the price, don't be too shocked about that though. In terms of the styling, I Absolutely love it! It's beautiful, especially from the back with the RG Logans stripes then the side and but in terms of maneuverability, you have 120 millimetres height adjust 60 degrees to minus 60 degrees or vest level and 20 degrees to minus 5 degrees of tilt. As you'll see later, the viewing angles aren't perfect on the up and down for this, so I definitely recommend positioning yourself in the best position possible and so you can get the best of color accuracy there

 This is something that only is designed for professional type players of a watched Csgo. That's the thing I said people, you need a competitive advantage. For me personally, coming from 140 person going 280 I didn't personally see a massive difference I'm not necessarily trained for that as such, so getting a benefit from that may be something that you need to beat of. you know I have long-term experience on but at the same time the overall design and wanted quite nice
