I'm still trying to wrap my head on how bad did qc fuck up here. They took a gaming phone, which probably has some of the best cooling on a phone and somehow made it heat up more. 
I'm genuinely sad about this because it seemed to me alot like Intel's own similar program. Where they would help co develop laptops and such with oems. I just hope if the make another one, don't have it fail this bad.

Great phone for what it is but

Asus rog Phone 5 has a quad dac with a 2V output similar to the LG phones (the phone has everything you could possibly think of actually, it's kind of crazy). If good headphone jacks matter to you then vote with your wallet and buy phones like that.

LG's commitment to quality audio with their phones comes to an end with their recent announcement. I'll be holding on to my v50, and maybe v60 later, till it breaks down or something.

But in case of immediate failure, what phone/dap would be an equivalent or better alternative? Considering my v50 runs my HD 6xx almost as well as my friend's schitt stack(they sound the same to me, my friend says he can tell the difference) they ought to be very good output.

My girlfriend has an iphone 13 Pro. I'm pretty sure the alarm on that thing will wake the dead. I keep asking her to find a way to turn it down, but she says you can't control the alarm volume separately.

Surprised the pixel 6 pro is not on that list. I was blown away the first time i heard the speakers and I'm coming from a Pixel 4 XL which was regarded well. Now I'm intrigued to hear the phones in that list that i can get my hands here in the USA.

Loudness isn't something i particularly care about but the speakers on ROG phone 5 are amazing. Really really good

I don't know about that. I recently had to use my Mi 11 Lite 5G for some loudspeaker music in outdoors, but it was simply too quiet. We used my friend's old Samsung Galaxy S8 instead, and it worked out much better. I like the phone a lot, but I don't find it really loud.

Sadly none have topped the HTC One M9 in audio quality for me, i'm very happy that my Mi 10T Pro is very loud and overall decent audio quality at max volume.

 I had to convert my account to T-Mobile in order to activate the phone on the network. Once done, it activated as expected, however staff informed me that you would have to get a new sim card for this phone regardless of if you were with Sprint or T-Mobile first.  As for the phone itself, it is blazingly fast, extremely responsive, and overall a great purchase. I will say that on the T-Mobile network, the phone does NOT have 5G connectivity, only 4G
