 It's not designed to be like a big mountain charger or anything like that. In addition to the quite rockered tips and tails, we also get a quite soft flex pattern in this ski, so you add up both of those tips and tails, so you add up both of those things and you're not going to get like a tremendous amount of stability out of it and I think that's fine, you know, that's not really its point. Atomic even makes some other skis that are intended to be more stable overall. Rather the point of this ski is just to give you incredible float, which it certainly achieves, it gets great float for a ski that's 110 underfoot, probably some of the best out of any ski that's 110 underfoot, great float, and then just like a super super quick ski and how you can kind of throw it side to side, really get it to pivot, kind of wheelie up on the tails if you want to, do a little nose butter 360, there's just so many fun things about this ski

 And then we get Horizon Tech in the tips and tails, so that kind of beveled finish to the base of the ski and the tips and the tails gives it a more surfy, smeary, easier edge release feel. And when it comes to shape, this ski, the 110, is certainly more similar to the 120 than it is to the 100 or the 90 or the 85. And I say that in reference to just the amount of rocker it has, so not quite as much as the 120 in this ski, but boy look at all that tip rocker up there, that's a lot of tip rocker. And then you can say the same about the tail, that's a ton of tail rocker, you know, it's almost like symmetrical rocker profile from tip to tail in this ski, kind of a nod to the freestyle influence in the bent skis in general

 I understand. So the Bent 110 kind of takes that whole concept, the theory behind that ski and repackages it into this narrow, narrower waist width. So very very similar ski, you know similar characteristics, similar feel, just a little narrower. So this ski starts with a lightweight wood core

 You know, I think it's perfectly fair to compare this to the Bent 100 in the sense that there's a bigger application for that Bent 100, I think there's a bigger range of skiers who can like it, I think the 110 kind of is more, it's positioning itself in more of a unique area of the ski market in general. Like the K2 Reckoner 112 in my mind is a great comparison to this ski, and both of those are designed to bring that freestyle mentality into powder, into the back country, stuff like that. Jossie Wells has become extremely fond of this ski, if you're familiar with Jossie Wells, he has a competitive slope style and big air background, and now he takes that ability and kind of puts it into the back country and pushes himself in the back country, but with that freestyle mentality. So you don't have to be a freestyle skier to like it, but I think a lot will, and I think that's kind of, I think it's important to bring that up

That ski is probably the best all around ski on the market. It's just fantastic and makes a great touring ski.

I am a teenage alpine racer who is seriously considering get alpine touring skis this year. When I was younger I was never allowed to buy free skis because I would grow out of them in a season, but now my gs skis are longer than my dad’s and the middle point of my sl and gs skis is right around the length of his free skis. I love hiking and snowshoeing and the dynamics of alpine touring have always fascinated me. I was think about putting alpine touring bindings on a pair of nordica enforcers 104 frees but if anyone has any better suggestions please let me know.

Another Bent Chetler ski! For 2022-2023, Atomic expands its iconic collection to include the Bent 110 and Bent 90, in addition to the Bent Chetler 120 and Bent 100. Per usual, the skis look awesome, featuring artwork by Chris Benchetler himself. The 100 has been a bestseller, and the 120 is one of the most loved powder skis in the world. So, what's up with the new 110? 

The Bent 110 borrows bits and pieces from the 120 and the 100. Its shape leans slightly more directional like the 100, but its flex and rocker profile err more on the side of the 120. Smeary tips and a light weight give it lots of touring and pow-skiing prowess, but it's also intended to hold up well in mixed snow on big-mountain terrain. 

We're pumped to ski the Bent 110 on some of the best days of next season.

It's the ski you bring when you think there's going to be fresh snow, but you don't want too much ski if it doesn't turn out to be blower pow. You want enough ski, but too much waist width can feel cumbersome

The Bent 110, thank you Atomic for finally making this ski. Previously we had to be at 120 mm is wide for a pow ski in the family. You need to have some deep days for it. I don't know about you but it doesn't happen as much as we like. That's where the new Bent 110 comes in.  A more nimble feel than the Bent Chetler 120 and more appropriate ski for when it's less than 2 feet of snow.  The Bent 110 is a bit more stable than the 120, but it can still slash and boy can it float. We just skied this in the storm that wrecked the Northeast.  Unless you have 3 ft of blower, the Bent 110 is a killer all-mountain powder ski.

 If you like to make figure 11's you might want to look elsewhere. As an insider tip for the ski, it does ski a little bit short so don't hesitate to step up in size on the ski. Another suggestion, I wouldn't hesitate to go with a demo binding on this, again like the Atomic Strive that we have on here, so if you do want to mount it forward or aft a little bit on the ski it does give you a little bit of flexibility.
