Bass texture isn’t exactly perfect, but as I mentioned before, it definitely isn’t mud. It’s about as good as you might be able to expect from this particular product, but you’re not going to reach new levels of bass detail nirvana. Mids, whether by virtue of their recession or otherwise, have some gloss to them, meaning that fine details are hard to perceive and don’t jump out much.

*Beats*: overall tone is bright and harsh. Somehow, and I don’t know if these are defective, there’s almost no bass. But it’s good enough for podcasts or music, they are the best overall cycling “bone(? )” phones IMO. My second choice would be one ear of Beats Pro since these stay glued to your ear - but like any earphones they get uncomfortable after a while.

wireless earbuds recommendations for running?

Love my Beats Pro wireless. They go around and in the ear for stability. They do not move while running and don’t even fall out when the dogs attached to your waist see a squirrel and you slide head first down the muddy sidewalk like a seal.

Raycon's are actually way better quality and half the price. You can even get a 15 or 20% discount if you find someone on YouTube advertising them.
