Even worse still is that quality control and dubious manufacturing can cause problems that are much worse. A prime recent example of this is the QC on the clones of the Benelli M4 coming in.

Looking for a good shotgun

Stick with a brand that has been proven and tested. Semi auto: beretta 1301 or Benelli m4, but those are 1500+ dollar guns. They’re great, you get what you pay for. Caliber wise, I’d stick to 12 gauge unless you want something less powerful for whatever reason.

Purchased one of my dream guns [Beneilli M4]

Just purchased this benelli M4 from a local FFL. Supply has been low in the nearby area and I've told myself if I ever walked into a place and they had one I'd get it right then and there. I walked up to the counter and looked behind the clerk and and saw it.

Moronic Monday 10/18/21

Bought a Turkshit Benelli M4 clone (Four Peaks is the importer, "Coppola" is the manufacturer), styled as the T4-S. Front sight is canted roughly 15 degrees off true. Ghost ring 3-dot sights suck (if you shoot note-forward like most folks who've taken government-sponsored training have, the rear sights are just a hazy blur when they're that close to your face).

Just wanna talk about Guns. Might be Fun.

Not overly stressful on the firearm, and is very easy to reload the cartridge. it also has the benefit of being able to be loaded with black powder if you are into the whole complete end of the world type scenarios. Shotgun - Benelli M4.

Friday Buyday 08/26/22

I hadn’t bought a gun in many years (8?) but I purchased a Benelli M4 last friday and can finally pick it up tomorrow morning! Very excited and wow I’ve never had to wait to buy a gun before. Pretty happy with my collection but I didn’t have a semi auto shotty so I had to get the best one 😎 that’s how that works right?.

Shotgun brand recommendation

Mossberg 500 and Remington 870 are very popular. Benelli Supernova is also worth a look. M4 is awesome but I personally think there are better home defense options for $2k. For that much you could get an AR15 and a 590A1, which is more bang for your buck…literally.
