You might just want to get a cheap canister for the hard floors like a Bissell Zing (bagged) or Eureka Mighty Mite since neither of those vacuums are well suited for anything but carpet. For hard floors, the absolute best way to clean them is a suction-only hard floor tool with no brushroll to obstruct the airpath or scatter debris.
For hard floors, a simple canister is all you need. Check out the Bissell Zing ($60), Eureka Mighty Mite ($80) or Sanitaire Mighty Mite ($130) for some good budget-priced machines.
I've used this vacuum for my cleaning business over two yrs!
I'm a small business owner and have been using this brand and style vacuum for my cleaning business Aroma Earth Cleaning LLC for two years now. In my opinion, it's BETTER than some of the more pricier vacuums on the market! We clean close to 50 homes a month and these powerful little vacuums keep on...

I'd consider the Bissell Zing it has a cord rewind higher filtration and a set of wheels so you don't have to carry it in like the Oreck.
Video on that.

BISSELL Zing Bagless Canister
The BISSELL Zing Bagless Canister vacuum is a basic model best suited for clearing small debris. It has a compact, lightweight body, a relatively simple design that's easy to take apart and reassemble, and great overall performance on carpeted floors.
I would get something like a Bissell zing or Eureka mighty might. If you're doing a lot of dusting buy some extra attachments.

I would definitely buy this product again.
I am a transport driver for a dog rescue, We use a very large van filled with crates. I use my Bissell to clean up after every trip. It has great suction and easily picks up all the dog hair and dry kibble that's left behind in the crates, and any crumbs left over from the driver too. It easily clea...
Super lightweight, great addition to your robot vac
So our robot vacuum doesn't get into the corners (what?! A Round vacuum can't clean a corner??), also I can't exactly carry around a huge heavy vacuum- hence the robot in the first place. Enter the Bissell Zing. Despite some mixed reviews, I decided to go for it since it was So cheap, on Amazon, and...
