Been looking at the lower end sound bars that are out there without a subwoofer and basically its down to the Smart Soundbar 300 or the Sonos Beam. I know listening inside of giant stores isn't the best way to judge sound quality but the Bose sounded better to me however I would want to have whatever I chose also work with a portable speaker or 3 that I could have around the house or outside playing music in sync.

Not up to par with others in price range

Update 8/10/21: I had some relatives come over for a weekend and they said you need a sound bar, I said I do have one its right there under the TV!... Well I got a another sound bar recently with satellites and little woofer 5.1 Atmos by Vizio and it blew me away with the rich sound clear loud voice...

If I play around with the CEC codes on the Bose app, I can get the soundbar. to work some of the times. This is usually a pretty big hassle (ends up taking 15-20 minutes of fiddling to get audio) and I just end up unplugging the soundbar and plugging it back in. Very rarely has the soundbar worked flawlessly from the time the tv is turned on.
