Boss Digital Delay DD 7 Review (for Guitar Solos and Clean Tones)

 I'm a huge Boss pedal fan. I have some EHX, MXR, and even Digitech but nothing, in my humble and unqualified opinion, matches the quality and reliability  of a Boss pedal.

I run the DD-7 and RV-6 into the send / receive in the amp. I feel that it gives it such a deeper and richer tone overall for the sound that way. I'm a huge Boss pedal fan. I have some EHX, MXR, and even Digitech but nothing, in my humble and unqualified opinion, matches the quality and reliability  of a Boss pedal

My Setup

) When feedback is turned all the way up, in some settings your signal will get louder and louder and louder so be careful and be sure to hit the switch before it gets too crazy (remember it has to fade out too). I didn't notice any difference in tone which is great. People think analog is great but I like using the second longest MS setting as your delay sound is that of your originally hit chord. (Analog makes the delay a bit muffled) There's a loop function but it plays over and over until you reach down and switch the mode

 So here we have the spectacular Boss DD7 digital delay compact guitar effects pedal. As an ex-demonstrator for Boss, I've used this pedal for many, many years. It is absolutely fantastic. It is built to last, the sounds are stunning, it's so ridiculously versatile

 The pedal itself is built solidly, as you'd expect to find from a Boss pedal, especially the compacts. They are just absolutely rock solid, and they're going to last a lifetime. Now today I'm powering it by the PP3 battery, the 9 volt battery, which is contained here. It's the classic design that we're all used to seeing from Boss
