This water bottle struck a happy medium: kids liked that it was easy to drink from and parents liked that it was easy to clean. It had a straw-free cap that allowed water to flow freely, as well as a cap lock that prevented accidental spills. It didn’t break or leak when dropped repeatedly or inverted and shaken. It also didn’t retain any smells or odors after the green smoothie test. We love this water bottle (cleans easily, easy to fill, doesn’t leak) but the rigid transparent portion of the lid breaks far too easily. As a family, we have four of these bottles (from 2020) and we have already busted the latching mechanism on multiple lids and now the lock portion is failing, making it completely unusable. The lid needs to be made of a stronger (less brittle) plastic.

This water bottle is my favorite out of all the ones we have tried for my preschooler. It’s easy to clean and only has a few parts . Most bottles we have tried have rubber mouth parts/straws that my son would chew threw. This one has a hard spout
