Simracers of Reddit; what is the one piece of sim equipment/hardware that you regretted purchasing the most? Why?

I have just about all the most popular racing sims produced over the last 10 years and am trying to figure out which one provides the most detail in terms of road feel (bumps, tires, debris). I have an TR160 rig with a Fanatec CS v2.5, CS v3 pedals, Simvibe running 4 shakers in extensions mode (I was setup with three sound cards and 6 shakers (with individual amps) 4 in chassis mode and 2 in extensions mode, 1 at each corner for chassis and 1 under seat, 1 under pedal plate). I have triple 27" monitors and the HTC Vive ... Other than a motion rig, I believe I have everything I can to get the most immersive experience possible.... My issue is that when running one title (I'll leave sim names out for now) the driving feels "dead" or "disconnected" whereas other titles feel much more "alive" almost like you can really feel the car connected to the road. I've tuned SimVibe as much as I can and usually default to just saved telemetry data. In your opinion, which is best and which is the worst? I do very little actual racing, I SIM for the feel of driving different vehicles in different places without having to leave home. I apologize for what seems a loaded question and an apparent wall of text.

Drive your real world vehicle and pay attention to the "feel" of the road.... That's what I'm looking for.
