 So nothing amazing, it's quite cold today so the ball's not going to go quite as far and also I wasn't swinging as well as I potentially could do but nothing kind of startlingly comes out and goes wow this is going a long, long way. So is that a good thing? Yes, probably because they're not trying to create a golf club that goes a long, long way, they're just trying to create a golf club that looks good, quite easy to hit and quite forgiving but also offers you a little bit of assistance. So in that handicap bracket they're targeting at, they've probably done the job right to be fair, they don't want the golf club almost to go too far so they've probably done the right sort of thing there. So overall nothing spectacular but probably doing what it should do

I received and swung this iron yesterday and I gotta say that I am not disappointed with the purchase. It is great quality as you would expect from Callaway and performed well. I would buy again. I don't really have a negative thing to say at this time about the iron

 Don't know the loft of this just yet, I'll be honest. Don't know how far it's going to go, I'll be honest. This is my first swing of the day, I'll be honest. It says thinner top line, but you can still tell it's there to help you

 I'm getting shots like that just turn up, or it's right, and I don't know when it's going to happen. It's a much better swing. See, I think a lot of it is down to this very high launching steep descent angle. It almost looks like it's going to make it and then it just goes

 This is my first swing of the day, I'll be honest. It says thinner top line, but you can still tell it's there to help you. It's not the thinnest I've ever seen. I put the green at 210 meters away

Great new club!!

 But the shaft's a bit shorter. There's sort of the confidence factor, maybe it is subconsciously okay I'm hitting a 6 iron and you should have a better strike pattern with a shorter club. Perfectly for the person that wants to drop the spin though. That's the person I'm seeing here

 I think that the player who really suffers from the flyer is probably not looking at this iron anyway. It's a much faster swing speed player that probably leans the shaft quite a bit. Definitely. That player should be looking at irons that come with more loft and offer different characteristics anyway

 This is for that player. We made a little ball adjustment. Just to show what would happen if you liked the irons but you wanted to touch more stopping power and there it is. You can narrow that gap between carry and roll ever so slightly if you want with a little extra spin if you're trying to find a difference

 So in keeping with that it's right where our P790 is, it's right where all those other irons are. So let's hit some shots with this Matty boy. That's good. That was a lovely strike

 We're going to use a TP5 and then if needed we can make some line loft adjustments and see how we get it kind of dialed in. The standard loft is 26 and a half.
