 We have tungsten weighting that's mem design, so that means it's designed specifically to support things like swing weighting and CG placement in the center of the face. This is a very interesting design from an iron of this shape and size because normally it's a one piece product. In this case they actually have multiple elements going in to introduce the benefits that you would want to have between consistency and swing weighting, CG placement, and again that kind of player control we're looking for in a small package like this. So what we're going to do today is hit a few shots and talk about the results we have and whether or not that tech performance is in there based on what we see on the outside

 I'm really impressed with the tungsten weighting in the back. Every time I hit one really flush, that is probably has a lot to do with the amount of material they have behind the face and I love that. So we have an opportunity here to take a look at the data on table view and talk through some of the shots I had. We did mention right out of the gate that my first shot was a little bit fat, the player profile like this you can come to expect that the distance will be the biggest casualty there

 Let's hit another. Much cleaner for me, might hang out a little bit to the right, not a problem. Looking at the shaft here is a Project X IO, brand new shaft, a lot of people are talking about this, very challenging shaft, very unique shaft for their design. I think from a player profile standpoint this is an exceptional pairing and a wonderful job by Callaway to introduce it in this way

Amateur Tries New $1600 Callaway Tour CB Forged Irons

 The link is already up there in the corner. They're the true blades. The X-Forged are definitely a slightly more cavity version of those. They are in the same family line, but they have now got more perimeter weighting than the Apex MB

 It's got a little bit of protection where the Callaway symbol is to help with centered strikes and a little bit more protection towards heel and toe. Let's give this a hit. I'm looking forward to this. This is a good looking iron

 What's also different that isn't going to show up in these numbers is that center of gravity adjustments that they've made to more finely place that center of gravity. And that's going to help with allowing the player to more easily square the club at impact. Again, those aren't going to show up in numbers, but over multiple shots and a lot of testing, I would expect to see the new 2021 be a little bit more consistent on dispersion. But again, need to spend more time with that

 Callaway has added some custom internal and external weighting. The tungsten in the toe is going to align the center of gravity precisely behind the middle of the club, while this big external plate is going to allow Callaway to precisely dial in the swing weight while keeping that center of gravity perfectly centered on the iron. Both of these irons look very good from the playing position with a very thin top line and minimal offset. Again, you'll notice a more satin finish with the new irons as well as an identical shape to the club face
