This is the Camelbak Sequoia 22 women's hydration pack, it's built for those hikers who are headed out in the morning for a full day on the trail and who are carrying a lot of water to fuel your adventure, maybe you're hiking, a fourteener or reaching that peak - That you've always wanted to visit this pack is going to help you get there. This is the sister pack to the iconic men's version of the Camelback fourteener, and these packs are built to support the weight to keep you comfortable and to offer maximum breathability in the back. So that's where I want to start on the back panel Camelback is using their NV back panel and it's all about ventilation. There'S two pods on the top that give a place for your upper back to you

 So these support your upper back, there's a lot of foam in there and this actually kind of moves with you. So as you move as you hike you go up and down hill, your back is going to be in different shapes, and this is going to just conform to your back. Really move with you as you move and keep you comfortable now. The hip belt down below is well padded and gives a ton of connection with the wear, so it really transfers the load well right down to your hips, your lumbar area, and you can use this large hip out to really cinch it down up at the shoulder

 Straps, you don't have any adjustability in the torso legs, but this is a women's specific tag and you can use these load lifter straps to sort of adjust that height, but lots of padding lots of mesh and a nice curved shoulder harness there. You have a sternum, strap, that's adjustable and then, of course this is a hydration pack, so the hose comes out the back and routes to one side, let's open up this hydration reservoir compartment and take a look at that crook. This three liter reservoir is tucked away in its own insulated compartment, and this compartment does two things: keeps your water chilled for longer during the day and allows you to access this reservoir without having to fiddle with any of the other gear inside your pack. It makes it really easy to refill and the hose is actually Camelback Quick Links design, so it allows you to easily be attached to the reservoir without having to take the hose out of all of these little spots

 There are some stretchy pockets on the sides, so three liters of water isn't enough. You can carry a little bit of extra water there on the side compression straps here that you could also store some gear on the outside if you're really packing. This hang out for a full day. You'Ve got two loops on the bottom and bungees up here for trekking poles, so this pack was built to keep you fueled on the trail, while also keeping you comfortable and ventilated with the back panel

CamelBak Sequoia 22 Women's Hydration Pack

 It's the kind of pack that immediately strikes me as a long-haul hiker's pack. EXCEPT, the overall interior volume is less than most mid-size Camelbaks. This is all very counter-intuitive to me, and while it is a very nice pack, I believe its uses to be limited to dragging around dense objects for short distances or doing a long haul thing with barely any supplies (and even in that case, you could go with a lighter actual pack).  I have seen a men's pack from a previous generation that must be from the same line, because I remember thinking the same thing about that pack

  I found it really comfortable. I wish I cycled because I could go miles with this pack and I think it would be ideal.

The Air Support back panel has channels that allow air flow while keeping the pack snug and tight on your back, which is a must-have when you're scrambling hard terrain, in my case large granite rocks in New England and streams in muddy woods.  It has 32 liters of storage space and I found, plenty of space for extra warm layers, lunch, and the essentials. I typically don't take a walking pole with me and rely on finding one out in the woods but that's only been for lack of a place to hang one when I need both hands

Comfortable Fit

Great for Hydration on the Go!

 Good straps that are comfy and adjust well. It’s fitted for females which generally means wider waist and smaller size. This one is comfy for the partner even on longer rides. It’s well made like most camelbak products

Big hydration compact package

 Many packs I tried are short in the way that the waist belt falls one inch-ish above my hip bone. I tested in REI before I have an 18"-18.5" torso, this one fits me well.

Before this bag, I was using an old Camel 18L bag with no hip support, which, is also a very good and durable bag, but with day hikes of 20 miles distance, more than 3L of water supply, my shoulder and neck feel great sore using that one.

 This one is padded. And what I loved most is the huge pockets on the belt! Fit in my handy stuff, cellphone with 6" screen easily.

Comfy and functional!

 It comes with a leak proof big bite mouthpiece that connects around the front through small clamps for easy access. It also has this cool handle to make filling the bladder so much easier!! 9) The straps that go across the shoulders are slightly padded and then a firm mesh that again helps with not feeling the heat and sweat of the pack.  I am so excited about this pack! I got it for my son to use but I am definitely considering getting another one for myself! It comes with a lifetime guarantee as well!  I do not know of anything I would complain about with this pack! If you are a serious hiker/camper or do the Appalachian Trail.

 This pack is amazing! 7) It is the most comfortable backpack I have ever tried. There is an adjustable sternum strap as well as adjustable waist straps. And the back of the pack has a rigid air support back panel with mesh covering it to allow air to get to your back so you are not sweaty from carrying the pack!! How ingenuous!! And though it is rigid, they made it in such a way that you do not feel the hard support.

but if you do have you can easily store them on this pack when not in use!  I think the key features that really sold me on this product are the comfort and the space available as well as the thought that went in to making it easy to use the rain fly :)  Wonderful, sturdy, comfort, plenty of water space as well as equipment space...what more could you ask for?
