The Canon 1DX – Does this DINO still BITE??

So that was great too. So portraits, wildlife photography, those are two very separate things, but this camera did very well on both fronts.

Dear Canon Reddit -- 1DX III or wait for R3?

I have an R5 sat right here and I've had all three 1D X models, and yet I still miss the feel of my old 1Ds mk II. That shutter that sounds like a Star Wars laser gun, the big brick of a body, the deep grip, the triple LCD screens... as I said above, going to RF simply does not scratch that itch. - The chip shortage and reduced production means though the R3 is expected to be available to order by September, don't expect it to actually arrive in your hands until November at the earliest.

Sports body that's not 1dx mk ii? Maybe the 5d mk iv?

I would reccomend the Canon EOS-1D X, or the EOS 7D Mark II, both of them are great in my opinion. Even the older 1D series have had amazing AF (from my experience), and people say the 1D X is even better.

The best digital camera for beginners is the Nikon D6 or the Canon 1D-X. Beginners can use them and take great photos. If you are a billionaire but a beginner, you can buy either one and take pictures without problem.

My boss wants me to take pictures of landscaping projects. I know nothing about photography. I need to take great looking pictures for landscaping and plants we install. 1. What is the best gear for 2k for that sole purpose? 2. What is the best resources to get up to speed for best practices ?

The good news is with landscape and architecture you don't need autofocus, since buildings and trees only very rarely try to run away from you. Use the nifty fifty and the 14mm for most of your quick-n-dirty shots. The 14mm will be your go-to lens for almost everything. You don't need the **T+S** lens right away - add it later.
