 However, if it does, you will save on ink.  To save our landfills, parts like printheads and ink waste pads should be reasonably priced and easily replaceable by the consumer. This is still an issue.  I have had this printer since May 2018 and many printers over the last thirty years

 Under size, select borderless.  Neutral:  • The color inks are dye based • Black ink is pigment • Rear paper tray  Print heads seem to clog less with dye versus pigment ink. In general, dye ink is not water resistant and colors may not appear as vivid. However, I was impressed with the photos printed

 The print was very similar to the distortion someone with macular degeneration would see. An alignment fixed that.  For the clogged nozzle, it took a couple of ink flushes. I had tried the less ink intensive cleaning options FIRST

  If I can use the printer with the original ink that came with it (two black and one of each color), I will consider it a very good value. If you need to buy refills later to continue to use it, it would be an excellent value. The ink flushes probably will limit its life for me. **** 10/01/2019?  Less than 18 months later and only 1200 sheets printed, I now get an error message about a jam

Owned almost two years.  Good for Everyday Print Needs BUT

We have a Canon Pixma G6020 we bought before getting a Cricut. It has massive ink tanks and the cost per page is great. Price is about $280 but it comes with enough ink to print thousands of pages which offsets the cost.

My wife wants a color printer for print and cut. I’d rather spend more on a nicer printer than worry about ink prices being so expensive. Any suggestions? The new printers have eco ink but I’m not sure if that is best. Looking to spend under $250.

 I mean color output does not rival a color laser printer. I saw better color prints on an Epson inkjet 20 years ago. Everything is faded and not crisp/clean. But

 There is no way to tell capacity other than to look at the printer (what's the point of software that can't tell you ink capacity???).  Google's printer driver built into Chrome works fine but the Windows printer spooler in Windows 10 crashes and crashes and crashes and is SLOOOOOOW using this printer. Use a program's built-in universal driver (like the one in Chrome) rather than Windows if possible.  Don't use standard paper

Use brightness 100 paper or your printouts are going to look REALLY faded. Also be sure to use "highest" print quality (go to printer properties and change default quality) or you WILL get ugly print banding in color color images

 So when you see this, don't panic like I did. lol  No, this probably wouldn't be the ideal printer for a busy office where huge amounts of printing are done and speed is of the essence, but it's plenty fast enough for the typical home user / home office environment I would guess. I certainly have no complaints, and I'm not the patient sort. But yeah, if I regularly printed 500 page documents I'd probably look at a more expensive business model printer

the color prints of photos were miserably pale. Worst prints I've ever had from a printer! After hours of fiddling, reading the manual, trying everything, I finally found the solution..

Seriously any decent printer advice is also needed, constructive criticism won’t hurt me, our current printer only does tricolor………..
