 If you wanna butter this board, you gotta get your weight way out on the nose or the tail, right into those softer spots, right where that flat section is, and really press into it. Expect a lot of rebound. Expect it to fight you. Just expect this board to want to just push back on you

 It does some things very well and it does some things very, very much in the realm of mediocre at best. I understand who this board is for and that rider will probably fully enjoy it. I am not that rider. This is not the board for me, but I think it does a disservice by having the DOA name

 You wanna keep your weight out over it. It's gonna give you some fight. It's honestly not the best if you're trying to slow speed butter. You need to really be hauling ass and really press into it, and the same can be said about jibbing with it

 You have to know what you're doing. You have to just be prepared for it. You're gonna engage it off the front, and that's gonna drive it into that turn, and then you have to understand when to steer it from the middle of the board through the back and where to finesse your weight and how to keep it engaged, because if you don't, you're gonna just have a sloppy ass carve, to be honest with you. This is a board that, the more speed and the more muscle you put into it, yeah, the better your carve's gonna go, but if you're doing slower speeds and you're still trying to lay a trench, not gonna happen

The 2021 Capita Super DOA Snowboard Review

 The entire middle section of the edge does not grab. This makes it very hard to control. It does have a lot of pop and is very flexible, ollies/butters great! I board in Southern California and the local mountains don't get a lot of snow - mostly man made. Took it out twice and will not use it again unless I go to Tahoe or Mammoth where there is enough powder for the edge to grab

Advanced riders on good conditions only

 With this board you're going to get the same basic specs as you'll see in the regular DOA but you'll have a lighter weight construction, a stiffer board and just an all around more aggressive ride. With the Super DOA you're going to get a true twin shape so this board is ideally designed for a freestyle setting and because it's the stiffer version of the DOA it's meant to ride a little harder in that park setting so whether you're hitting those big gnarly rails or stomping 40, 50, 60 foot jumps this is the board you're going to want to ride. In the Super DOA you will get Capita's V1 resort profile so a traditionally cambered dominant board which you'll have regular camber through the length of the board but towards the tips you'll have a flat zero camber transition section, a small rocker section and then Capita's WAPOW flat kick tail technology. All of that is going to give you a super snappy and responsive board for when you're hitting those big ollies

 They have built structure into it straight out of the press that's going to keep it running fast right out of the wrapper. Because this is an aggressive board you're going to get a stiffer flex than you'll see in the regular Defenders of Awesome board. Obviously with that you're going to get a much snappier and powerful ollie as well. One of my favorite things about the Super DOA and all of Capita's boards is that they are handcrafted in the Mothership Factory in Austria

 So here we have the Capita Super DOA. The big brother board to one of Capita's best selling boards, the DOA are also known as the Defenders of Awesome.  The rebound is insane It turns side hits into launch ramps rollers into mega booters It's a deck that with a little bit of speed you're going to go higher and further than you thought you were initially Really so much snap now when it comes to jumps this thing pops off lips It'll send you way past the sweet spot deep into the landing if you want to small medium large This is really for large jumps. It's got you covered when it comes to jibbing and buttering with this board Speed is the key. The sweet spot isn't that immense and it's outside that 3d shaping in the tip of the tail So you want to make sure you get your weight way out over it really put your weight into it But really press hard just muscle it as much as you can Because it's going to fight you. There's a lot of rebound in this board

 It's holding on You're feeling everything short tight quick turns long hard drawn out cars It grips and rips. I took it down the race course for ski racers Which was just like swept off to sheet ice and this thing just held an edge. I didn't feel unstable I didn't feel like I was gonna die. I just felt locked in like I could make a turn on it No questions asked

 You're going to feel it in your knees at the end of the day It's a board for pushing your limits While I didn't fully love the board. I didn't hate it I see where this thing sits this this thing is like the creme de la creme from capita This is proving like that. They can make something that's ultra high end twin That's what it is. The big takeaway with this board is if you're a lazy rider, you're a little more laid-back It's not for you This is where the regular doa would probably come in or one of capita's other boards But if you're just crushing everything in your path and you want to dominate Here you go comparable boards The ultra mountain twin the ride helix

 There's a lot of drive. It's just aggressive I mean, is it a board i'd go butter every day with no, but can you yes Just be prepared to muscle it as you need to it's the same thing with jibbing Yeah, it'll lock into a press But you've got so much weight you're putting out over the nose or the tail to get it to engage That when you hit the end of the feature, it's going to springboard you and when you're sideways it hugs But it does not cradle it. It's the perfect blend of Of balance that you want when you're sideways on a feature But speed will always be the key with it. This board is nimble edge to edge It rolls from toe to heel with very minimal effort But there's a lot of power that it pushes down through the sidewall into the edge to grip it It's a deck that when you're on edge, you know, you're on edge

Board advice for new adult boarder

Looking to buy a Freestyle or park board here this off season and could use some feedback. I’m 5’8” 175 lbs, wear a size 10 boot. Im debating between a 151 or 154, I would say that I’m advanced in terms of all mountain/pow riding but relatively new to jibbing in a park. I want something that is relatively playful but can handle the mountain if needed. 

I’m looking into getting a Bataleon fun kink or an evil twin, I’ve heard good things about their boards and the triple base technology, anyone have any experience with them? I could be persuaded to other boards as well, anyone have a fun freestyle rippers they like?

I just learned how to snowboard this past year in the Vermont mountains.  I picked it up rather quickly and looking to make the jump to a nice board that will last. My friend had an old Burton Flying V he let me use for the season and am not sure if I want to go with the newer model. 

I am looking for an all mountain board that has speed with control down the Northeast groomed trails. I don't really do park features unless its small jumps and boxes. I would prefer a direction or true twin board.

Burton Flying V, Jones Mountain Twin, Lib Tech Skate Banana, and the Never Summer Protosynthesis are four I have narrowed it down to after some research. Obviously if someone has a better recommendation please comment.
