 I think you can change that setting but it's a nice blue color and it works great especially when it's super dark and you can set it so that it comes on when you raise your wrist which is a neat feature that Casio has. I turned that off because to save battery and such I felt like it was coming on when I didn't want it to but it really works great. So I'll come back to you with the lights on and finally, I've already said it a number of times, we'll close out this video for this review. Well there you have it

 It's got the triple sensor over here. Some things I don't like about this watch is the band. This is the second band that I've had for it. The first one that came with it ended up wearing out some of these joints here and they became brittle and broke eventually so I just bought another band

Not Perfect (4.5 Stars) But Everthing as Advertised

 So now it displays the day of the week and the date. Pressing the adjust changes to the month and date. And pressing the adjust again changes to the barometer graph which shows you the atmospheric pressure for the last 42 hours. So each one of these lines is two hours and each line one upward down is one hectopascal

 So just a heads up so you don't have to look randomly or watch the whole video. Okay, back to the watch. The watch in question was introduced in 2013 and it was the first watch to, the first of the new generation of Protrex that featured the new sensor, upgraded V3 version of sensors versus the V2 of the previous generation. This was introduced together with the PRW3000, which looked to me a bit feminine compared to this one, but the PRW on top of all these functions and this whole layout, it has even the same screen layout, it added the radio reception function

 I mean this one works well, as I will show you, and it does shine the whole screen, but as you can see on the left side, you can see the hotspots from the LEDs. So compared to an EL which has an even distribution of light through the whole screen, over the whole screen, I think that one, the old generation looked more luxurious and better compared to this. And the second thing which I found very bad compared to the previous generation was the Duplex LCD. Now when they introduced the Duplex LCD, it was really an incredible technology

 It can display different things. By pressing the adjust button, you change the display here. So now it displays the day of the week and the date. Pressing the adjust changes to the month and date

  The screen overall has a better viewing angle than the 240, I think this is because it doesn't use the dual lcd display. One thing I did like better on the 240 was the fact that the compass hands were more obvious (because of the dual display) this one is harder to see the compass at a glance.  I am also disappointed in the light in the 270. The 240 had a beautifully even yellowish backlight

 I'm used to the 240 so that's not as much as an issue as it first was.  The bezel doesn't rotate like the 240, but that's a feature I never used and it mostly got jammed with dirt anyway, so I don't miss it.  The screen overall has a better viewing angle than the 240, I think this is because it doesn't use the dual lcd display. One thing I did like better on the 240 was the fact that the compass hands were more obvious (because of the dual display) this one is harder to see the compass at a glance

A decent upgrade from the PAG240

 The world time feature is one of the reasons I bought this and that's great. My biggest disappointment is the strap. Hard and constantly pulling my arm hair. The steel back of the watch, in direct contact with my skin causes my wrist to sweat and that's uncomfortable

Strap's a bit uncomfortable and few replacement choices available

Overall, very good watch.
