CIOKS DC7

The Cioks seems more “way of the future” and the GigRig stuff feels dated and like I need more weird parts if I want to expand. DC7 and 8 ordered. Now to figure out how to make my own patch cables… Thank you all!.

It does it’s job but is quite noisy and if you touch any of the cords it makes a crackle. I think I’m going to bite the bullet and get a CIOKS DC7 for each board because I like the idea of being able to expand and the price is right.

It's expensive, but if you're using a lot of pedals and experiencing noise, a DC7 (and potentially a Cioks 4 or Cioks 8 to go with it) will go a long way toward solving your problems. As for the audio cables...because of the levels and impedances involved, it absolutely is possible for different cables to cause problems or sound different, mostly by rolling off too much high end.

I got a Cioks DC7 on Monday and I'm in love. There is no noise in my signal anymore, and it's super thin. The power selection options are amazing, you can run any of the outputs in 9v, 12v, 15v, or 18v.
