 I glanced inadvertently, glanced at some of the Fragrantica comments, and I laughed. Someone said it smelled like warm cucumbers, and I've never heard a more accurate description for this. I would say just cucumber, it has a very cucumber-y smell. I guess the warm for them came from the patchouli

 The Solar Bloom one had charcoal notes, and those charcoal notes are really summery to me because of cookouts. However, this is spring through and through. And I went to Fragrantica to look at the notes. I'm gonna also go to the Clean website and see if I can get a better list of notes for it

 It's really, really simple sounding, but it comes across quite different from what you expect. So it absolutely does have a very aquatic smell. It smells like water, which is funny because those notes on their own are not particularly watery, bergamot, white flowers. That was the thing too

 Any white flowers is what this smells like. And then the base of patchouli. Do you smell all of that? Yes, you do. It is a floral first and foremost, but it's a floral that smells watery, which is unique

I just recently tested Clean Reserve Galbanum & Rain and ugh there it was. They're also less common in men's niche fragrances than men's designer.

This is going to sound bad, and is not meant to offend anyone. I just really want to know if anyone has any idea what it is I might actually like smelling on a man. 

Okay so I'm straight (23F). And I don't think I've ever really smelled a perfume for men and thought mmm that smells good. They a have this sort of typical "man" scent to them that I just don't enjoy!! What is that note? What makes it smell like that? Just sharp. And by man scent I don't mean the natural smell of a man, I just mean the typical kind of scent perfumes for you guys usually have.

I was at a friend's house for a party, and I went into the bathroom right after him. He had just applied perfume in there. My first thought was wow I don't like that. And then I saw it on a shelf, and it was one of the popular ones I've heard about!! Why don't I like anything! I don't get it, I love most perfumes for women.

What do you guys think? Am I just crazy and don't like the typical manly scents, or is it an application problem? As in do your perfumes smell sharp and uninviting at first? Then settle down and smell lovely? I'm just so confused, I thought manly perfumes were supposed to be loved by women.

Also if anyone know something I might like, please let me know!

I think the perfume he sprayed was Paco Rabanne Invictus. Might&#39;ve been a flanker though, I have no idea.</p>

Do I just not like fragrances for men?? What's wrong with me!!

I have the CLEAN cotton Parfum spray which I am constantly getting compliments on and I was hoping this scent was similar to the cotton scent, but to no avail it was not.

.I think that the flowery smell was just a little too strong for my liking. It definitely overpowered the clean,powdery,linen smell I was looking for.

Just a little hint, before you buy a certain perfume, it does help to try it out in a store first, so you do not spend money on something that ends up being overpowering. Everyone smells different with the skin oils and what smells nice on 1 person may not smell the same on you.

Clean Original Parfum spray...not what I was expecting

Try all of the Zara collection by Jo Loves, for two hour scents their price is much much better. Also give a go to 1.Diptyque

 So when I got a chance to get it for way cheaper than in the store, I didn't hesitate! One thing is that even though this perfume has a clean, soft powdery scent that I find pleasing, I wish it had a body wash and lotion so that I could layer for a more intense scent as well as more staying power. But one thing I forgot about that day that I tested it on my skin was that even though I had a great lasting impression of Clean White Woods, I had sprayed on Clean Rain right before, and so even though I usually don't mix my scents, that combination smelled AMAZING on me, and it's not the same just by itself. This is a scent that is nice and fresh and powdery that's for casual daytime use or just before bed.

 It opens kind of sweet, so you're getting an oud that's sweet. It's kind of light. There's some incense oil in this one, which you'll pick up on. There's some blue cypress

 I could see walking along the beach in a cooler crisp fall day or winter. It's really really nice, so I like this one a lot. I highly recommend this one. Really really nice

 I could see this as a daytime scent. Now all of these are unisex. I think you can wear this one easily year round. Very nice fragrance

 If I am, please correct me. But anyway, great fragrance. Right down the middle, guy, girl, can totally pull this one off. I think this is sexy for a nighttime going on a date

 Don't get me wrong, I shower twice a day and am slightly neurotic about soaps and smells. Eventually I learned to wean myself off the Clean Crack and get back into just lightly designed fragrances. Still, if you want to be mistaken for the Snuggle Bear, get this stuff and prepared to be snuggled.

Fragrances for Introverts?

Shipped fast but I don't think this is the real clean rain that's sold in Sephora, it's missing that musky undertone I'm used to with this frangrance. It also fades fast. Anyone familiar with the clean line knows one spray can last almost 2 days or until you shower. This did not do that
