It's also easy to just rub my finger across the top and tap it on that way. The color is great on my neutral-cool fair skin.

I am huge fan of cream based products. I am curious to know your favorite cream blushes so please share some of your favorites or ones you’ve tried and your thoughts! 

Some of mine are: 

Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam: a creamy peachy pink blush with a glossy dewy finish. I like to apply it with a brush over using my fingers as most people do. Only downside is the staying power is rather inconsistent but it is very suitable to a natural/dewy look. It’s so subtle to the point it doesn’t shows in pictures 

Honest Beauty Cream Blush in Coral Peach: this is an extremely pigmented blush. Very little goes a long way and I’m not exactly sure how to describe the finish but it’s more matte than dewy I guess. Probably my favorite so far

CoverGirl Clean Fresh Cream Blush in Flushed: Similar color to honest beauty cream blush but has more of a dewy finish and a slightly metallic coloring to it. Is also extremely pigmented so a little goes a long way. It’s also vegan! 

Milk Makeup lip/cheek stick in Werk: beautiful rosy color with a dewy finish but has terrible lasting power. Most of the time it fades within the next hour but on the rare occasion it stays.

 I have never tried a Colourpop blush before. I think when Colourpop first came out, the only thing I tried was their lip products. I got this blush stick, it's supposed to be a cream formula, so let's try it on. The packaging is super cute and look at this little button thing on top

I've been using colourpop blush stix in cool it. It's my first creme blush, but I really life the stick format, and it blends out well without being jarring. It's available at ulta.

*Age:* 22
*Skin type:* Combination (normal to oily T-Zone &amp; chin, dryer cheeks)
*Current foundation:* Maybelline Matte + Poreless, “Ivory 115”
*Current unsatisfactory but cute blush*: Maybelline Fit Me! Powder blush, Pink Rose 25




So I finally upgraded from BB creme to real foundation. Thing is, since this foundation is matte, with my combination skin (dryer cheeks) I feel like my powder blush isn’t cutting it anymore; it doesn’t last long and I look like a vampire by the end of the event.

And yes, I do make sure to moisturize beforehand (a _thin_ layer of CeraVe moisturizer, then generous amount of moisturizer with SPF)

I’ve heard that cream blushes last longer, but I’m worried about price and ease of use. Can anyone recommend a cheaper-leaning product that blends decently and isn’t too, too easy to go overboard on?

 It's just a faint natural rosy tone. I worry if your skin is any deeper than mine, it wouldn't show it that much. I can't say that for sure, but it is quite light on me. I wonder if it'll be kind of light on everybody

 And then you put your foundation over it and then you can just see it like barely there. Like it's a really pretty like just like kiss of color to your cheeks. If you go in directly, it's very difficult to kind of blend it out. And I do notice that it kind of picks up the product underneath

 So if you're wondering why I look a little crazy right now, it's because I have all my makeup on except for blush and bronzer. So basically with my monthly previews, if y'all aren't aware, I pick a product and then I basically try it out for the entire month. So I replaced my Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush that I've been using for years and years and years with this. I put it in my everyday makeup bag and only use this for the month just to kind of see my favorite way to apply it

 As you can see, like they're very pigmented. And if you want to go in directly with it, I think going under the foundation looks super, super pretty because it gives you like a light flush to your cheek. And then you put your foundation over it and then you can just see it like barely there. Like it's a really pretty like just like kiss of color to your cheeks

 You can see the little hint of color, nothing too crazy. And then I think putting the bronzer on top again just makes it look really, really natural. And then again, I will go in with my bronzer. And just go over it
