So these machines are super just versatile across the whole line So if you know how to use one, you know how to use all of them in terms of like the monitor The resistance the motor fan whatever you want to call it And then just in terms of like how you actually use it. It just depends on the machine. Honestly guys These are like the performance version of like the pelotons like the nordic tracks the pro forms I like to think of them that way because literally that's what they're intended for They're intended to just build athletes and breed just athletes and that's exactly what they do So up here you do have nice rubber handles guys So these bad boys are nice and coated rubber handles

Hey all, I know there are a couple of threads around this on Reddit but just wanted to get some thoughts on whether to opt for the Skierg or Rowerg for the home gym? I love the Skierg and want to get better at it but I am better at the rower and I know it gives a more of an whole body workout. That said I currently have the Echo bike at home so not sure which one to go for as a second machine?

Update edit: Thanks everyone for your responses- were super helpful! I ended up going with the rower in the end- one major deciding factor was the fact that it is indeed used in comps a lot more, even in the more local functional fitness comps. Also my partner has bad shoulder (rotator cuff amongst many other things, thus too much repetitive OH stuff is not good for him) so Skierg wasn’t a great option for him but he can still row without pain, which would hopefully motivate him to get back into fitness.

MOSTLY great, but do have some gripes.

Pretty minimalist, but if I get some kettlebells and can find a Total Gym Core Trainer for a reasonable price, I’ll have my perfect gym.

 If you do not possess some carpentry skills, buy the stand, you'll save time and money from wall repairs.  I use for sprint, medium time/distance intervals and long distance recovery, my Partner likes it and uses it, she had an eleptical trainer which never was used, which is what they are good for in my opinion. If you want a machine to mimic skate skiing, this is not it,nor what is designed for.

Johnny Ringo, you've found your huckleberry.  Note - I've only had this a week, but give it 5 stars because : 1) It came with everything needed for installing as described, and works fine so far. 2) I'm expecting the same quality as the Concept 2 rowing machine. Otherwise, It would get a 4 right now, and I'd need a year with no issues to up it to a 5

 3 hours later, I've rearranged enough priceless junk to accommodate the 16" move. Finally, secured to the wall, bolts hitting wood x 4 - it's solid as a rock.
