Great Light, Battery Fits Fine

 Everything looks good. Alright, we're going to see how many lumens this is. I do have a freshly charged 40T Samsung. See how many lumens this is

 So yeah, this is a tail switch, and let's see, I want to show you guys. Let's see, so it is a TRI lens, you guys, the optics. And this, so it's 55 degrees Celsius is the factory thermal. You can't change it or nothing, but this is basically your operations

CONVOY S21D BROKEN LED

Just got it, and a 21700 (protected) battery will not fit the length of flashlight. The circumference is good, but the 21700 sticks out of the flashlight by 1/2". You can jam the tail cap on, and it'll turn on, but isn't secure and the connection is iffy. Maybe an UNPROTECTED battery, but no thanks

Does NOT fit 21700 batteries!!!

 So looking at the design, the knurling provides a good amount of grip, is non-aggressive, I can feel some slightly sharp edges here on the cooling fins and on the tail cap in this pattern, but apart from that, we've got the lanyard as much as that in that way, so it won't protrude here to obscure the tail standing feature, without any problem. As you can see,, let's unscrew this one and show you the threads,. So as always, perfect work from Simon, square fake threads, well lubricated,. Here we have a spring, I miss a bypass as Simon used us for the bypass from the factory, but you can always do it by yourself, why not? I'm using the Samsung 50S battery for this test, this is extremely unpopular battery right now, but I have two of them in my collection, so this is basically the Samsung 50E with 5000mAh battery capacity, but with much higher discharge rate, around 35 to 40A, so like Samsung 40T, but with higher capacity, alright,

 so I really appreciate it. Simon, almost 8 hours of 250 lumens, which is amazing, really is 26 degrees of body in this test, Alright,, on a standard location it's 1%, 10%, 35% and now 100%, notice how beautiful and unilateral this beam pattern is, perfect for EDC purposes and even photographing. With this perfectly balanced beam lighting everything in front of you, and now quick comparison between the tints, notice that it has even better tint than the GTFC 40 emitter, they're more rosy, more neutral, Alright,, summing it up, definitely what Simon did with this Convoy S21D was that he exceeded our wireless expectations,. I mean with those beautiful niches LED under those honeycomb diffused optics, you've got the most pleasant beam I've ever seen in a flashlight

 And if you have the memory switch off, every time you will enter the first mode in the group when the flashlight is turned on,, in this one I have mode memory, So when I go to the third mode, switch it off and then switch it on again, I have the same mode, Ok, so if you like to change the mode group that you are in, you basically have to turn on the flashlight and tap the switch without turning it off a given amount of times,. looking in the runtime graphs real quick, this is 100% out of Convoy S21D, As you can see we have gradual step down for the first like ten minutes, nine minutes and then we have a stable performance of around 834 lumens, mind you, from four Nichias, crazy high CRI, sustainable output for around one hour and 45 minutes,. the body did achieve 58 degrees, so quite hot, but you can still hold it by the end of the flashlight,. So mind you, this is a crazy performance for high CRI flashlight, as you can see now the high output, so 35%, here I Measured 849 lumens to start up and then as you can see we've got pretty nice output regulation, flat one with 815 lumens of sustainable output for over two hours, the body did achieve 40 degrees and the last portion on the right side of the graph you see is actually the blinking that the flashlight needs recharging, So around 2

8, 2.7 volts when the LVP kicked in, you can see this weird graph, but in reality it's just blinking, Alright, and now the 10% output here I Measured 257 lumens at start up and again we've got pretty nice flat output regulation, this is the bug driver, mind you, so when you have really low voltage of the battery, you won't be able to switch on higher modes, but during the discharge the line is flat. so I really appreciate it.
