CL530 Conswole - Packing heat

It was a decent product, but the noise level was fairly high. Replaced with a tower cooler and instantly improved volume. Would only recommend if space is very limited and water cooling was not an option.

Hi folks, I'm pretty new to this and am just window shopping for myself and my buddy. I saw a nice sub 8L case on Aliexpress, the MetalFish T60. It seems quite ideal given it can house a full length GPU. 

However, I noticed it has a 60mm max cooler height. Checking Noctua's website all of their shorter coolers can't sustain a Ryzen 3600 at base clock. Given I'm planning on putting in a 5600X, are there any &lt;60mm coolers than can cool one optimally? 

The MetalFish S6 has no such cooler height restrictions, but I'm reluctant to go with the larger size, as I've been scarred for life by my very not portable 13L eGPU enclosure.

How well do &lt;60mm coolers cool?

This cooler fan set up is great but still can't find a cable or whatever to use the rgb my mobo does not have a 5v 3 pin connector on it

It works great

It's a crap cooler to be honest. Something went wrong with the heat pipes, it wasn't welded properly or something, because the slightly taller variant, IS-50 Max (with direct copper heatpipes) and the IS-60 Evo works relatively well compared to IS-47K. Might want to find another cooler.

IS-47k Compatibility

  I like the cooler for my compromise (not paying $1500 for a top of the line GPU) gaming rig and given that I’m using an Ryzen 5 3400g with an RX 580 to drive 2K resolution, this cooler maintains cool temperatures.

 The cooler also seems to cool very well and runs nice and quiet. I don’t OC my APU so really a stock cooler should work, but I like the larger and quieter fan on this cooler. Oh I also had no trouble installing RAM. Your mileage may vary on that one

Crazy ID-Cooling IS-60 EVO Heatsink 1 fan mode

 The offset of the cooler was not a fit with my ram and motherboard. ASUS ROG Strix X570-I Gaming, X570 Mini-ITX Gaming Motherboard and XPG DDR4 D50 RGB 16GB (2x8GB) 3600MHz PC4-28800. The ram is too tall and the vrm cooler on this motherboard prevents me from turning the offset. As such I am not sure of the contact with the cpu

Im working on some systems that i want to make fit in a very small space, and im wondering what coolers that are 65mm or less that can handle a processor (amd a10 6800k) that is +100W TDP? The other system will have a processor (i7 3770) that has a 77W tdp but i can just use the same cooler for both to make it simple.

I got the processors and motherboards for free from someone else so thats why im not just going with lower tdp options like my main rig is.

Best low profile ≤65mm cooler?

 With the stock fans it kept my 5800x @ about 79c in a SFF. With noctua 120x25 and 92x15 fans it keeps it at a cool 72c.  The only real Con is probably a platform con: You do have to mount it from the rear of the motherboard, and since it covers up the RAM slots for Mini-ITX, it means you're gonna be disassembling the whole system to take it off or swap ram. And some cables depending on your motherboard layout
