I purchased a set of QL140's and am using the 6 fan RGB hub it came with to control the lights on them, and the motherboard chassis fan ports to give the fans power. ​. I didn't understand the need for the other smaller part included that has two LED ports on it and takes mini USB, so I didn't use that part.
