 Hey guys, I hope you're doing well. My name is Quinn and welcome to my channel. So this week I'm reviewing translucent setting powders for my cheap versus expensive series. Now translucent setting powders are a must-have in my makeup collection because they are essential to help set your liquid or cream foundation and really just locks everything in place and increases the longevity of your makeup throughout the day

 I can definitely see all of the hype with this product now because it really does work. It does a great job setting your foundation, locking it in, and then also just really helps blurs, you know, all your imperfections. So for what it promises to do, I think it definitely 100% delivered on that. So yeah, I would definitely recommend this

 The fragrance for this though is so distinct. It has like a perfumey, powdery smell to it that's actually pretty strong and a lot of people actually don't like the smell, but for me, it's like really nostalgic. But I do think that they offer this in like an unscented version as well. I just haven't been able to find it online, but they might have it in stores

 Oh my gosh, it smells so good. I don't know, maybe I'm like biased because I grew up smelling this, but I think it smells so good. It like, it smells like perfume and it's not as strong as I thought it would be. Oh my gosh, this brings back so many memories

I use sunscreen daily and get through 50ml each month. A good face sunscreen is usually €15 for 50ml in my country, which is quite expensive for me as a student. I would pay €15 each month just for sunscreen, that's a pricy subscription imo. How do you guys afford face sunscreen? Do you budget it every month or do you use a cheaper body sunscreen?

I recently switched from a face sunscreen that I loved (La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Cream Fragrance-free SPF50+ - €15/50ml) to a body sunscreen (Avène Intense Protect SPF 50+ - €15/150ml) for price reasons. I like the Avène one a lot less though and I can't seem to find a non-greasy, cosmetically elegant body sunscreen or an affordable face sunscreen. Do you guys have recommendations for an affordable face sunscreen or cosmetically elegant body sunscreen?

Mixed feelings

 I just recently started baking my makeup onto my face and I never realized like how useful it was and how much I would like it until I started doing it. But with a setting powder that's, you know, $40 to $50, I never felt like I could be generous with it. And with the Kody Airspun because of the price tag, I feel like I could be a lot more generous with it. I can actually apply more product to my face and bake it

 It's a nice smell, but it's very overwhelming because it's on your face, it's right next to your nose. And so yeah, it was just a little bit too much for me. And especially if I for some reason choose to wear another fragrance, I feel like that wouldn't mix very well. But other than that, there really aren't any negatives

Not great for dry skin

 To be honest, the translucent extra coverage, it works pretty good too, because you can't really see a difference. And if anybody can see the difference based on looking at me, you're too damn close anyways. Airspun loose powders, I think she could sit with y'all. I think she could compete

 It smells like baby powder actually. Come on, that's a really strong baby powder smell. But with my beauty blender, I'm going to bake with it. I want to put it to the test

 Hey kids, oh excuse my nails, I'm getting them done Saturday. So today I'm going to be reviewing the Airspun Unloosening powders. This is what it looks like. And I have it in both translucent, translucent, extra coverage and naturally neutral

I was recently watching a video of a dermatologist who said we need to be reapplying 1 tsp of sunscreen at least 3 times throughout the day if we are inside all day. This got me thinking, so I did the math: 

1 tsp is .16 ounces
.16 ounces x 3 = .48 ounces

So for me, I’m using Bioderma Fluid max Creme spf 50 currently. It’s 1.33 ounces. A $26 tube to last me not even 3 days? That’s just ridiculous to me. 

I’m trying to figure out what I should do. Should I switch to body sunscreen on my face since it’s larger and less expensive?

 There's no concealer getting in the crease. Like it's just no, like no creasing. Like it just looks so good. Like look right here where I set it

 So let me just show you guys. You can see the under eye. There's no concealer getting in the crease. Like it's just no, like no creasing

 There's my forehead, my eyes where I baked underneath. Here's my nose. Of course, I told you that I do have some dry areas just because it is winter. Here is where you can see that I have the powder around my face

 So let's roll the tape. So this is transparent, it is super soft, super velvety feeling, and it's very finely milled. So I'm just going to put this on the areas where I put my concealer and the creases and cracks of my face, and just basically where I get super oily. I do bake, so now we are going to wait
