 As I said, no SD card but that's not actually a problem because you simply go onto the app store, download the Creality Cloud app and sign up there and you can actually connect it to the printer and just send slices up to the cloud and just go onto the app and press print from there. So you don't actually have to mess around with plugging in USB sticks and SD cards and so on and transferring files and then unplug it, take it to the printer, plug it in, you don't have to bother with any of that. You can actually slice files on the computer and send them up to the cloud and they will then appear in the app and you just press print from there. Very predictable, I'm sorry this was the first thing I printed but yeah it's what everybody does isn't it? The benchy sort of test print, give it a good test and yeah that's working away there very well

 I've cut a little bit out there just so you don't have to watch it heat up, but you can see the filament comes out and you press okay. Now the bed is already levelled, so there's no bed levelling required at this stage, it's done at the factory. But while we're here, let's talk about the screen, 4.3 inch screen, very clear and you can see information along the bottom there about the bed temperature and the nozzle temperature and all the menus are very self-explanatory really, you've got different modes, you've got set up so you can turn the lights and fan off

 There are very few YouTube videos or other independent documentation on this new printer. Stay away from it unless you know what you are doing. Oh, and as for support, there is none. No phone number

Poor documentation and support make this a bad choice for newbies

 I honestly regret agreeing to do this review before the Creality Cloud issues came into my attention. I am going to say this now, no one should be buying Creality machines until this issue is fixed. They seem to not care at all that they are hosting stolen designs and this shouldn't be accepted. Even crappy Thingiverse seems to have been able to figure this out

 Creality Cloud is full of stolen designs and should not be used by anyone until Creality fixes this issue. Now for my final thoughts. I honestly regret agreeing to do this review before the Creality Cloud issues came into my attention. I am going to say this now, no one should be buying Creality machines until this issue is fixed

 The only real differences between the V1 Pro and the standard V1 is that this V1 Pro has a camera to remote view, and it will auto-pause prints when you open the door. The build volume is a small 175mm x 175mm x 165mm, and the price point for the regular is $499, and the V1 Pro is $539. Let's see if it's worth it. Setup was quite simple, and overall I like how easy it is to get to print right out of the box

 If you don't have a build plate, just tell me! You have a good product, why don't you support it? I will rethink my next printer purchase. A good printer doesn't do me any good if I can't keep it running. There are plenty of good options out there.

 I contacted support, they requested information, I sent the info and followed up the day after and the day after that and the next day, etc. It's been a week and no response to any of my emails. If you don't have a build plate, just tell me! You have a good product, why don't you support it? I will rethink my next printer purchase. A good printer doesn't do me any good if I can't keep it running

 Unfortunately the overhang on the bottom was not so great. Could have done with a bit slower printing there I think. But again overall I think it's fantastic quality to get something out of the box. Now of course there are things that you can tweak but in order to test the printer I generally don't change the settings at all I just use the profiles provided in the software just as any beginner would

 I've printed everything on this without any adhesion of any kind, and it's been great. Creality also claims that you can print pretty much out of the box, which I found to be true. There's no leveling required, however, it isn't auto leveling. If you do need to re-level it later, you do so by selecting auto leveling in the user interface

 3D printers aren't exactly the most user-friendly at the best of times, but especially so if you have kids when you consider that they're mechanical devices with no safety stops, and essentially a piece of hot metal running around at 200 degrees Celsius. But the Sermoon V1 Pro from Creality is a different story altogether, featuring a fully enclosed design with lovely acrylic windows. It even has an auto-pause feature when the door is opened, and a webcam to check on your prints remotely from the app. Is this the beginner-friendly 3D printer you've been waiting for? Maybe

 But again overall I think it's fantastic quality to get something out of the box. My wife also requested an avocado boat which is what it's printing at the moment. Hopefully I'll have some b-roll of that to show you by the time I get around to editing this

 It could pretty much sit anywhere, really. The enclosed design is not only great for safety and noise levels, but it's also good for reliability. Even the slightest variations in temperatures from a gust or a draft can end up warping the plastic. So eliminating those in that way should result in better, more reliable prints, less lifting up off the build plate

Misleading claims and non responsive support

 Very Easy to use. It comes with only 1 pack of wire which is white, grey colored wire, I am going to buy black and other colors as well and would continue to make awesome gifts for friends and family.

Amazing 100% worth it, great results!!

 The only regret I have is as he gets more proficient I'm going to have to pay out the big bucks, the bigger the boy the more expensive the toy. Let's hope he doesn't grow up too fast.
