This guy is very well made & comes with great edge on it. I own quite a few CRKT knives & find them all well made, durable and sharp. I think they are excellent tools at a good price. As for this critter, I've used it on a bunch of pheasants last season

Excellent little knife

 A paring knife is probably the beast size knife for trout and this, I feel, is the sporting equivalent. The sheath provided, though not leather, does the job. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. It’s mor than worth the price
